As a big fan of Star Wars, I attempted to download the despecialized edition by following the newest instructions. I have my issue in Section 3 Step 4, where, even after I have java installed, the FreeRapid Downloader (frd.jar) will not open, with the message “Java Application Launch Failed.” It asks to check a console. I am running the latest version of MacOS, Big Sur 11.4. I have tried each step repeatedly, and I have reinstalled everything repeatedly, so the issue is not that either java or the file is corrupted. Do you have any suggestions?
