Once the movie hits digital i will see it.
I have no idea how long that will be.
I’ve basically had the entire movie spoiled already but not having seen it the context has no meaning.
Hey all- been a long time. Where is the spoiler filled Tenet discussion at?
Is it here?
IT'S MY TRILOGY, AND I WANT IT NOW!
"[George Lucas] rebooted the franchise in 1997 without telling anyone." -skyjedi2005
"Yeah, well, George says a lot of things..." a young 1997 xhonzi on RASSM
"They're my movies." -George Lucas. 19 people won oscars for their work on Star Wars (1977) and George Lucas wasn't one of them.
I just saw it the other day. I didn’t think I liked it at first, but then I slept on it for a few days and started to understand the story better, so now the film has grown on me a lot.
Theater was completely empty apart from me and two friends. Not only was it opening weekend of the film (and a holiday weekend, at that) but we are in an area with low covid numbers… I don’t expect the theater industry to last now.
As far as SPOILERS go:
I like the theory that Neil is really Kat’s son from the future. Kinda wish the film would’ve hinted at that more.

So, a few days ago I contradicted one of my earlier posts by actually going to see the movie.
It was decent, I guess. My main problem was with the first act, which was basically just a mess of exposition scenes sloppily edited together. But once the movie is finished establishing everything we need to know, I actually found myself enjoying it a lot. I wouldn’t call it “good” though, there are still way too many Nolan-isms for me to really like it.
Right now my ranking of Nolan movies, from best to worst, probably goes like this:
The Dark Knight > Interstellar > Batman Begins > The Dark Knight Rises > Tenet > Inception > Dunkirk
I haven’t seen any other movies he’s made.
My preferred Skywalker Saga experience:
I II III IV V VI VII VIII IX
