I think I could only find a 72dpi source image so I’m not sure if it’ll scale up to 300dpi for DVD cover.

Hello! Has it been considered to edit Rey’s saber for the entire movie to crackle like Kylo’s? Personally I was/am extremely frustrated that they could have either gone with a double-bladed repair or the yellow saber for the entire movie, and instead just banded the saber back. However, I just read this idea recently and think it would fix my problem completely while not breaking canon. Is this do-able? Has anyone worked on something like it yet?
No. For one thing, it would be a hell of a lot of work for somebody. and it is not necessary.
Yeah, it’s definitely a lot of effort for something that doesn’t seem to be highly requested. I’d try to do it myself but know very little about editing.
I would also love to see that. I wish we could get ImmersonVFX involved.

I’ve only got my phone at the moment, but is that an audio only change?
I’m not sure I like the idea of Ben Solo taking up a still fizzly, unstable blade at the end climax, though.
And while it would take a lot more storage space that I have to host a true lossless export, I always put out a ~30GB version which is a lot more than most projects that are in turn used as source material. I can also make available the various pieces and files I have been sent that I used.

If the cackling Blade is as subtle as that first pass, with a more subtle auditory change it would be really nice. Not as broken as Kylo’s blade but still a consequence of it being split in two

Well hey, if you’d like to make that change for the whole movie, I’d implement it! There may be a shot or two that’ll need it from Dominic’s version of the desert fight scene.
