I believe this is from a deleted scene where they just walk past some officers without them paying any notice.

There’s something very 70’s about this picture. It also reminds me of this strange Polish poster.

Thanks again for putting all of this together ZkinandBonez, so many of these I’ve never seen before and they’re real gems, especially the actors working together and with Lucas are so endearing makes you feel part of it.

A couple images from an alternate take of the medal ceremony where Luke isn’t wearing that outlandish yellow jacket.

I sometimes wonder if that jacket was borrowed from Space: 1999, although I don’t recall ever seeing a yellow one on the show. 😉

Did John Mollo do costumes for that series? The ribbed-shoulder style also shows up in his work for ALIEN.

I think it was an off the shelf jacket modified for those productions.

This has just made me grin like an idiot and say to myself: Wow, maybe this will get back to Organa Major. Many wonderful images of things I’ve either never seen or from entirely different angles or takes. Scrolling through makes one realize again just how important the human factor was, how the nuts and bolts glued together rough hewn qualities are what made SW so special.

Rogue One is redundant. Just play the first mission of DARK FORCES.

Yes, you’re completely right. It was in a ANH album next to photos of the trash compactor so I assumed it was the dianoga. I’ll remove it from the original post.

So there was a talent agency specializing in Ugly looking gents? Only in England! 😉

And I can’t believe I never saw that Threepios cereal commercial before. They spent some serious money on these ads. A new shot of Ackbar’s(?) cruiser headed towards a planet and a rock alien planet in the other commercial.

Yeah, I was a bit surprised at that myself, especially since I’ve done some short film casting myself. Then again, it makes a lot of sense, though I can’t imagine being so blunt about it would go down well nowadays. Or maybe it would? I’ve never needed an “ugly” actor, specifically.

I do recall among the cantina patron costume sketches in The Art Of Star Wars a character or two were called local uglyman.
