…some of which may not have been seen for many years - as their respective work (all - or parts of) has been removed and replaced via the later (and continuing) Special Edition changes - with the unaltered original theatrical version of the films remaining unavailable to officially buy and experience.
Edit: doubleofive compiled this superb collection of images from the unaltered original films where shots have been completely replaced - along with original paintings, models, or effects by the original artists - unavailable outside of fan restorations and low quality obscure media formats from years ago.
