Yeah I know you can't mix NTSC and PAL on the same disc...

hey rik great dvd,but you might want to check the back cover it has cowclops v1.0 listed twice no v2.0,other than that pretty good.

I will be pulling a vanishing act for about 2-3 weeks...

At this time, with school starting for my son, Maddie's recent surgeries (nothing major at all - and the last of them for years to come!!) and with all the stuff going on right now in my home life; my documentary project, getting my car ready to sell (1983 VW GTI) and lack of fulltime work, (I'm sure you've noticed that I've been distracted and slow to post) I will be taking a much deserved break away from this galaxy far, far away...

I will still be able to duplicate sets and trade as I will continue checking and responding to ALL my emails just not PM's here on the forum or at myspleen.

I downloaded the "STAR WARS: The NTSC Laserdisc Transfers Demonstration DVD" and it's in ISO format. How do I need to burn it so it works properally?

You should be able to open it with Nero - the simplest way is to right click and select "Open with Nero." I would assume it would be done in a similar fashion using another burning program. I have also heard of isobuster, but I don't know what it does. One can also extract the iso using WinRAR. I'm sure there are other methods. Good luck, its a good disc!

Well I watched the disc last night and it indeed was a very cool disc (and very helpful after downloading a couple of the sets and not being too thrilled with them on my set). I decided the Dr. Gonzo set looked best on my TV and wanted to go with that. Is it up on a torrent yet or do I have to get it from Rikter? I searched on myspleen and couldn't find it, though it could have been named something different and I missed it. What's the best way to get it? Any further help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm still on vacation from the forums but check this out!

It's time we got these out there PROPER!

As you know this title is not an official DVD but a fan created DVD this 2 disc DVD set will be uploaded for FREE download via the bittorrent network on MONDAY the 22nd of this month on MYSPLEEN.NET and there will also be a NEWSGROUP upload in about 1-2 weeks!!

NOW onto what the upload will have...

The final two disc RIC DVD set contains:
- The complete two hour, twenty-six minute version of the film.
- On-screen commentary track, detailing what footage Donner shot, and other RIC trivia.
- Long out of print documentary "The Making of Superman II."
- Long out of print "Superman II Soundtrack."
- "Lost Scene Gallery" featuring pictures of Donner's unreleased work on Superman II.
- "Restoration Demonstration" showing before and after footage examples.
- ALL NEW DVD-Rom folder with the complete ORIGINAL RIC artwork folder. All the artwork, from the cover to the disc art, it's all included in both High Quality TIFF and JPEG file formats.

This set looks SWEET when printed to semi glossy photopaper and if you print the discs (PLEASE don't use STICKERS! gang)

I had the "official" version of this 2 disc set and it didn't have the making of Superman 2 on it nor the trivia track. Was there re-encoding done on this??? There had to have been because I don't think there would be room for that making of special if there wasn't. Personally, I'd rather have that special have it's own release rather than try to cram it onto this one.

Is the whole thing in 16x9 or just the parts where it's the original movie and the tv parts in full screen? My version is completely full screen.
