zion, those screenshots are beyond impressive...what was your source if you dont mind me asking, was that done from the copy with the running counter or was it from some other source?

Is the audio in true 5.1? i.e. is it the official audio mix? Or is this all a capture of some sort?

Yeah, I gotta say, when I saw the original footage that Zion was playing with, and then saw what he ended up with , I nearly wet my pants. (I really should get that seen to).
One of the best examples I have seen of taking really poor quality video and what can be done with it - my Mum was wrong, it appears that sometimes you can polish a turd - Well Zion can anyway.
IMHO, there is no point getting any other version until the official release - period.

Zion I love your release it is SO good! I have one little request tho.... when I was snooping around over at mf.com I saw that there was a dvd cover and a disc cover made for this rel. which are pretty damn fine... is there a possibility that those covers could be upped somewhere? There links are dead over at mf.com......

You could always try the "Pay It Forward" method which worked pretty well for the ADigitalMan Special Editions.

Looks like its the German title for Episode 1

It translates as 'The Dark Threat' so looks like the Germans get a better title.
Always wondered if 'The Phantom/Fandom Menace' was some Lucas sideswipe at his fanbase.

You can get it by downloading it from the newsgroup in this thread's title.

Newsgroups really aren't hard after you've set everything up. I just followed a guide I found here and have been enjoying newsgroups for a few months now.

not sure what audio was broken or "fixed". . .but. . .i downloaded this from the newsgroup and had to crank my tv up to 80 to hear it. . .i usually have it on 26 or so. . .was the audio problem one with volume?
