Star Wars is a buffet, enjoy the stuff you want, and leave the rest. 😃
I want to agree wholeheartedly. If only someone would develop Kurtz’s ideas for ROTJ into a comic or animated film.

I want to see it developed into a fan film, like Vader Episode I.

So a low-budget production with amateur nobodies replacing Hamill, Fisher, Ford, etc.? Can’t say that’s my cup of tea.

And also “Why We Fight: A Star Wars Story”.

Well start looking for the World between Worlds portal then…

I’m trying my hardest to get into animation, so…
Here’s a random thought: I would love to have the entire cast of ROTS + a very good Christopher Lee impersonator redub the movie with Backstroke of the West dialog.
You’ve never seen TheThirdGather’s Backstroke dub? Some of the voice cast sounds so close to the original actors, it’s scary.
Where were you in '77?
Of course I have, but while the guys who dubbed Anakin and Obi-Wan sound a lot like Hayden Christensen and Ewan McGregor, Yoda sounds oddly feminine and the guy who dubbed Palpatine doesn’t sound like Ian McDiarmid at all.
Auntie Yoda only added to the bizarro nature of it all. 😛

How did Anakin become a force ghost?
And it’s very interesting to me that Luke definitly trained to become one but after what happened at the temple completely abandoned it.(Which to me seems completely reasonable for the character given how much loves his friends and family) But as he’s sitting on that rock in front of the suns he reconnects with that training. And it seems like he’s looking to the future as he did on Tatooine rather than embracing death. His final moments are pretty great to me, but I wonder what happens in universe to Anakin.
Maybe Qui Gon’s voice came to him as it did with Yoda, letting him know how this could be accomplished even though Vader would reject it. Yet in the end would achieve it since he would know how it would be done.

If you ignore the prequels, you don’t need to worry about this.
I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.
I always imagined that if Orson Welles had been the original voice for Vader the way GL originally intended, he would’ve sounded something similar to Unicron who he did the voice for in Transformers: The Movie

Maybe it would have gone like this:
Then again, people today might think Vader sounds a lot like this guy. 😉

Mostly every fans response to TPM
There’s ‘Clerks’ cartoon series!?!?

It’s not like the movie, but it’s pretty funny.
Not sure where else to ask my question so here goes: I am working for a small theatre and I was wondering if it would be ok to tell them about the DEED after 3.0 comes out so they could do a free employee movie night or something. Not sure if this is an ok thing to consider.
Going by the example of that theater that showed an original 35mm print for free before they closed down several years back, you’re probably safe. And they certainly didn’t keep it unadvertised.
On the other side of the coin, there was a bar that got into trouble showing the OT on video, probably because they had paying customers, (buying drinks) or they did it too many times. So just don’t pocket the concession money or anything. 😉
Any experts on the legality of such a thing feel free to chime in though.

Depends if public/private.
During the making of the PT, there was never a moment during filming when GL would say “faster and more intense”. Do you think that’s where some of the acting went wrong?
I think it has to do with poor directing/writing

It is one point, yes. I think he changed his motto to “slower and more boring” during the PT.
And in the time of greatest despair, there shall come a savior, and he shall be known as the Son of the Suns.
