I, too, had steak (again) — rare this time instead of extra-rare — with hummus and day-old French bread.

I had steak as well!
If you call chicken curry with rice a steak (and I do)
I’ve never had duck outside of a jerky stick but I’ve always been curious.

Tastes quite good, but it’s a bitch to cook (lots ‘n’ lots of fat) and there’s not much meat.

Ew.
Ew
I squeezed a bun for freshness once. I got a black eye and a restraining order for my trouble.
Louis C.K. sock confirmed.
I had some gator, crawfish, and frog legs at the fair, which is also how I’d rate them.
You probably don’t recognize me because of the red arm.

I would put this in my sig if I weren’t so lazy.

Aw come on now I like this thread don’t get it locked
An absolutely massive corned beef on rye with Swiss cheese, some kind of Russian sauce, sauerkraut - so basically a Reuben but with Russian sauce instead of horseradish. And it was at the United Center so it was like $15. But massive. And delicious.
I might vomit on the way home, though that might just be due to my mom’s driving, I’m not sure. Being so outrageously full won’t help either way, though.
I’ve never had a reuben. I took a few bites once but didn’t like the sauce.
I’ve also never had corned beef. Is this fine?
A reuben is traditionally made with Russian dressing…

Vodka gravy?

Is it? I thought it was horseradish.
At any rate, they didn’t call it a Reuben. They called it…uh…something annoyingly themed, I’m sure.
JEDIT: I’m wrong, it’s usually thousand island dressing.
This sounds like it’s going to be like the provolone versus American cheese on a Philly cheesesteak sandwich debate, in which I say it’s provolone and you’re a dirty heathen, but in this case provolone is thousand island.
I just ate some American cheese, which by the way is either the favorite or least favorite of the cheeses I will eat, depending on whether it’s high quality or heavily processed.

“high quality American cheese” sounds like an oxymoron.

No. It’s Russian dressing. Google it.
And the correct answer is provolone. We can still be friends. American = gross. Whiz = grosser

That’s disgusting.

Except this time I added chicken. We’ll see how it turns out that last time it was the bomb.
Ate a steak boiled in milk.
The end result didn’t look that appetizing, but it was sure tender.

Other than that Mr. Energizer, how did it taste?
The blue elephant in the room.
