WONDER WOMAN RECONSIDERED:

It was wonderful, but even the best has a little room for improvement. What would we do?
Certainly leave the cast as-is. they were perfect for the task. The WWI setting as well. It was clever though dark. The basic story and direction were great. Quibling about for something to improve…
Dial the Lewisian allegory up to 11! Bury the needle! It was by far the finest aspect of the story. Paradise until the Devil corrupted man, a war between the Devil and his angels and the Heavenly Host, Devil cast out to wander and corrupt… In the process, expand foreshadowing for Aries and the final confrontation and tighten-up the final confrontation a bit.
The queen and her sister tell their legendary tales. Aries and Hades and gods and demigods attack Olympus, who are greater in numbers but not furious determination, we learn that Zeus draws out all the powers of the gods including the fury thrown at him and in the form of lightening and in one last effort to prevent overrun rises up releases descends drained then withdraws from the world of men except to give life to Diana, Aries and his host fall, near death, might have died or brought back by Hades to wander very weak to rebuild strength that will become full before the next great fight,
Peace Pol offers help to Trever to convince council that it’s too dangerous without immediate armistice due to gas weapon, gives money but no office use and tells Trever that he will have Chief and the Serbian boy meet them at the Front. Chief tells Diana his story and Serb tells of being a boy in Sarajevo and being abused by soldiers and telling other Serbians (Diana learns that war was started by assassination of just one man earlier), Serb tells Trever Peace Pol doesn’t want gala interfered with, Diana horrified that men would continue after killing Luden says Amazons were right mankind doesn’t deserve help it will just perpetuate evils and great suffering, Trever takes sword up to his breast and says he should have what he deserves first if it is about what humanity deserves, Aries in form of Serb and PP and weakened form of original self, Lasso and we see images of Aries through the ages too weak to fight but as Chinese counselor to warlords and other shapeshifting forms whispering to great leaders for more war and for domestic strife American Confederate demonstrator…, needs to join power with Diana for greater world without humans, Dr Poison told Lude earlier that plane gas was on a timer so will cause great death even if doesn’t reach destination chief overhears, very brief talk Trever and WW can’t hear Aries rising in background it’s “gotta go I save today you can save the world I love you” and runs as WW has to turn back to Aries, WW asks Dr P if she can destroy all knowledge of gas and she nods yes, Diana absorbs power like lightening rises and releases and collapses drained of power like Aries was, In a non-descript office she says she used to want to save the world but learned humanity must want it and do it themslves or efforts mean nothing, Wayne security leaves past sign CAMPAIGN FOR HUMANITY AND JUSTICE, we see flashback montage she spent the last century without power going to peace conferences and truce talks whispering encouragement for peace to leaders and generals, until she is strong once again for the great approaching fights sees emergency on tv and jumps off building to swelling romantic orchestral very vaguely like WW theme
