I’ll give you credit for trying to explain even though I disagree with you on so many things. With that said…

RotS is fifth because I never had to accept the PT like most of you here, and because of that I feel like I’m more open to appreciating them.

I have zero idea what this means.

I never had expectations. I was never left feeling very underwhelmed by those movies. They were always part of SW to me. They always gave me a very different feeling than the OT, a feeling I now know to be slightly worse, but just slightly. So, since RotS was always there for me, I think I’m more open to appreciate it than I am to appreciate TFA for example, since I saw TFA in theaters and had expectations and was left underwhelmed, etc.

Does this make sense?

It doesn’t make sense to me because the movies are all objectively terrible and it doesn’t matter if you had any expectations or not.

I don’t think they are objectively terrible at all. In terms of critics, the consensus tends to be that RotS > AotC > TPM. Apparently out of the 6 Lucas films, RotS was the 2nd best reviewed upon release. I don’t think that makes it objectively terrible.

Oh, you forgot that Frink is right and deems what is objectively poor art. Like how I can deem what is good music.

Stop being silly. They are extraordinarily poorly made films. If you don’t think so, I don’t know what to tell you. I can throw pans at a wall and call it music but that doesn’t make it true just because I say it’s music.

TPM is probably the best of the three because it’s the closest to an actual film.
