I hope I ain’t crazy for finding the C3PO and R2 cameo to be stupid cause I groaned when that came on screen. It just felt so hamfisted.
If i remember correctly Raddus ship already had taken off by the time we see the droids… So it is a bit strange because how did they get up there?

They were in Yavin. What’s wrong with that?? They were just sitting in the rebel base with 3PO complaining about how no one tells them anything. What’s not easy to believe in that?
Because if the Tantive is loaded on to Raddus ship then how do they get aboard Raddus ship.
What i am saying is the scene of them probably originally carried on to show them leaving.

Like i said i am not sure i recall correctly but i am pretty sure Raddus is already up in space or something by this point if i remember correctly. I doubt you will see stuff like this happen in Han Solo though it seems as though from reports they reshot 80% of the film.

No anger what so ever, the point is why does the cameo of the droids “feel weird” that is the topic pertaining to the whole fan service shots. And i am saying I think that there was more to it before the reshoots and stuff was changed and that is why it feels like it was just shoved in there. And it feels like fan service but it probably worked better in the other cut. Read back a few posts…
