Yeah, as though there’s not a middle ground? A place where someone can like Rey and Finn without bringing socio-cultural identity politics into it?
Why can’t people just like or dislike the character without turning it into a bigotry (or reverse bigotry) issue?

It’s a thing. Being judgmental toward people by assuming their actions or feelings are primarily motivated by bigotry is a thing that happens. If it happens, it’s a problem.
