I have that video as unlisted, but feel free to like and comment on my other videos. As you probably saw I get almost no exposure lol.

I think I will finish it now that I’ve finished my latest album since I’m not going to start on the next one for a while. All I have left I think is the credits music lol.

I don’t have much that are publicly available. I had a ton of video game covers that I recently hid when I made the decision to start posting non video game tracks.

I have six albums though. I’m more than happy to mail you some or give digital downloads.

Been playing here and there LEGO MARVEL SUPER HEROES 2. Fun and the music is great as always. The Legend of Zelda: Parallel Worlds ROMHack is still frustrating.

Boring day, so… Here’s my rankings of the Legend of Zelda soundtracks! I haven’t played the DS titles, so those aren’t listed.
There isn’t a title with music I don’t like, so this ranking goes from good to great.
~
12. Link’s Awakening (1993)
Not a bad group of songs, but it’s the least memorable.
11. Oracle of Ages/Seasons (2001)
I love the update to the classic overworld theme!
10. Majora’s Mask (2000)
The mischievous title theme and the reworked classic Overworld theme stand out, but I find the rest a bit bland.
09. Twilight Princess (2006)
Hyrule Field Night and Hidden Village are a couple of the series best.
08. The Minish Cap (2004)
A very different sound for the series. Minish Village is a great track.
07. The Wind Waker (2002)
Would have liked this one to have had a more island/Polynesian sound, but it has a great title theme and a very adventurous overworld theme. Dragon’s Roost Island is another favorite.
06. The Legend of Zelda (1986)
The original theme and overworld are obviously classics, but I also love the Save/Continue and Dungeon themes.
05. Ocarina of Time (1998)
The title theme is just so good! Very different than the typical “adventure” music you’d expect. A truly classic soundtrack.
04. Breath of the Wild (2017)
A controversial approach that has divided the fans, BotW won me over more and more every time I played. Rito Village and Hyrule Castle are favorites.
03. A Link to the Past (1994)
The definition of Iconic! Every track is a masterpiece! The Darkworld and Seven Maidens are series standouts.
02. Skyward Sword (2011)
The first fully orchestrated score did not disappoint! Very fitting themes for each area and character. Fi’s theme is probably my favorite piece in the entire series!
01. The Adventure of Link (1987)
This one just has a magic to it that no other has had. Best Title Theme, Overworld, Battle, Boss and Dungeon music.
(The closest any track in any LoZ game has come is OOT’s Forest Temple.)

I agree that mm soundtrack would be boring to listen to on its own, but in game it is so wonderfully atmospheric and engrossing. It really draws me in. Some of the “song of healing” cutscemes actually gave me goosebumps.

The whole game is a trip. I recommend enjoying it as some top shelf reefer to get captured into the moody dark almost trippy atmosphere of the game, maybe with a shot or two to keep you grounded so it doesn’t get too intense lol.

JEDIT- I have no idea what’s up with the numbers! it goes from 12 to 1 in my post/edit screen, but 12 to 23 when I post it!
ANYBODY KNOW WHAT’S UP?

It’s MarkDown faults. I don’t know if it’s a bug or a feature but with any numbered list it takes the first number and just increment it for the following lines.

If you write:

12. One
3. Two
47. Three
1138. THX

It shows as:

  1. One
  2. Two
  3. Three
  4. THX

But if there’s no blank line before the list, it’s not interpreted as a list by MarkDown, it’s just the original text:
12. One
3. Two
47. Three
1138. THX

Han: Hey Lando! You kept your promise, right? Not a scratch?
Lando: Well, what’s left of her isn’t scratched. All the scratched parts got knocked off along the way.
Han (exasperated): Knocked off?!

Sorry to interject on the Zelda thread, but since the title still says Video Game Thread…

Nier: Automata finally came in the mail (ordered it on Black Friday and they sold out before filling all the orders). Anyone played it? What am I in for?

Just googled it and it looks like you’re in for LOTS of upskirt shots.
I couldn’t gather any more information. Maybe there isn’t any more information.

It’s a JRPG, so this isn’t terribly surprising.

The “Champions’ Ballad” DLC for Breath of the Wild is out. I’d been putting off playing it because I’ve been busy playing Stardew Valley with my wife, but so many spoilers abound on YouTube (just in titles and thumbnails alone) that I had to stop and play Zelda for a while so I don’t get any more spoiled than I already am.

Star fox Zero for Wii u. Tried it once before when a friend had it. Hated it for its controls.

On a whim bought it to try it out. I love Star fox so I should at least try to master its controls before I pass judgement, right?

And…

This game is fucking awesome. Now I love its controls. When I first played it I think I expected it to be too much like Star fox 64. And I didn’t want motion controls. That was my mistake. It’s not Star fox 64 too and it’s motion controls make the game so much more engrossing once you accept them.

Basically, if you’re familiar with Star fox this will make more sense. You pilot the ship like normal, but you can tilt the game pad and aim just your laser, without changing your ships angle or having to consciously press a button or operate a joystick. And it actually works. Sometimes if you overaim, and with this quick game if you get into it you will, the calibration will get off but all you have to do is hit y and it will recenter at your current position on the fly with no pause so it’s almost a non issue. It will feel weird at first, but then a little switch will click in your brain and suddenly it will make sense and feel natural. You can look at the game pad screen and have cockpit view too which is nice too. And you can switch that as well. This game is very immersive.

I’ve heard it’s criminally short though, so we’ll see. I hope not coz it’s so fun.

I just completed Shantae: Half-Genie Hero on Normal Mode with 100% item get. Now I’m playing the “Pirate Queen’s Quest” DLC as the antagonist, Risky Boots.

NieR: Automata was pretty great. Highly recommended if you’re into JRPGs or games that shift/bend genres. Or games with nearly-imcomprehensible but still somehow engaging storylines.

I used to have the Japanese release of the official soundtracks for ocarina of time and Majoras mask. Good music, good artwork, stupid presentation on the discs. For oot they crammed every piece of music in the game on one disc so none of the songs loop and a couple aren’t even complete. For Majoras mask it’s two discs but the discs aren’t completely full so it still feels crammed.
