I agree with everyone who has called you a Frink sycophant.
I disagree with that. My views are my own.
To elaborate on this, you should see that there are many issues wherein Frink and I disagree, particularly the MAC vs. PC and anime issues. I wouldn’t be comfortable with myself if I were changing my views simply to advance status on this forum.
I was (mostly) teasing. I mean, Frink’s humor is great, and I think many of us aspire to win some approval from him. Your comment wasn’t just contributing much, so I thought I’d poke a bit.

I don’t know how true this is, but it shouldn’t be the case. My approval shouldn’t mean anything. And frankly it’s a litte strange to hear this coming from you, someone who seems plenty self-confident (at least in forum terms).

From what I’ve read it was one specific incident years ago when he patted someone on the back once but her clothing wasn’t covering her back. He claims it was to console her, and she recoiled and he apologized and it never happened again. He even claims they remained friendly afterwards. It sounds to me like a very uncomfortable misunderstanding that was ignored forever and then brought up again. I don’t know though, I wasn’t there.

He’s the only one speaking out about this and the fact that he’s denying the harassment means a lot. Franken, Weinstein, Cosby, etc. never denied, they just either ignored or vaguely addressed them. Keep in mind to that he was dismissed for alleged “improper behavior,” not harassment, and there’s a huge difference between the two.

Yeah, although from what I can find right now it seems to only be his side of the story.
“I put my hand on a woman’s bare back,” he told the Minneapolis Star Tribune. “I meant to pat her back after she told me about her unhappiness and her shirt was open and my hand went up it about six inches. She recoiled. I apologized. I sent her an email of apology later and she replied that she had forgiven me and not to think about it. We were friends. We continued to be friendly right up until her lawyer called.” In a later statement, Keillor referred to “the two employees who made the allegations.” More information is forthcoming, presumably.
I want to wait to hear her side before calling it horseshit.
