I watched Blade Runner again recently…and it’s still just meh. I don’t get why everyone loves it so much.

I still think you should have had Obi Wan fall through a Blade Runner cityscape shot. Coruscant in AOTC stole a lot from BR.

It’s a movie that grew on me with each viewing. I didn’t like it much the first couple times, but now it’s one of my all time favorites.
I’ll take your word for it, because I’ve now watched it twice in about a 10 year span and I would assume the only thing that will get me to do it a third time is for Blade Runner 2087.
I think it helps to live with it for a long time and revisit it often. It’s really the one film that demands rewatches more than any other.
It also helps to read Dick’s wonderful original novel which is more of a parallel book like Clarke’s 2001 novel.

Original Kong, Bridges Kong or Jackson Kong?
Or King of Kong?
.
Jackson Kong sounds like a '70’s Kung Fu/exploitation film. Or a porn star name. 😉

THOR: RAGNAROK
Saw this on Friday. Loved it. Only two nitpicks is the sound should’ve been turned up more and a slight bit longer running time.
Lost Highway (1997) – 9/10
I’m upgrading this to a perfect 10.
The Fifth Element (1997)
It’s fun.

Please tell me you at least enjoyed the soundtrack…!
There was music?
There was music?
Ah, you’re killing me. I’ve been listening to the Blade Runner soundtrack at least three times a week for the past month or so.
I like the visuals and soundtrack of Bladerunner quite a bit, but I just can’t get passed how boring it is.
The Person in Question
For me, Blade Runner is all about the atmosphere. The setting, the mood, the music, ect. That’s what I go to Blade Runner for and ya can’t get it anywhere else.
I’ve probably only seen it about 6 times since it’s release though.
Yeah, I love the atmosphere and pretty much everything that you mentioned, but I just can’t get past how boring it is to me.
The Person in Question
Someone created a massive Blade Runner map for Unreal Tournament 2004 some years back and it’s like running around in the movie. The level of detail is still impressive today. It seriously overtaxed my old PC at the time. I still find little hidden things I’ve never noticed before. And flying around in a police Spinner is fun.

Any movie that features Elijah Wood throwing ninja stars like a dork is a win in my book.
