One more is Mystery Men. I enjoyed it. Dunno why I sold the DVD. Gonna buy the Blu-ray disc eventually. Decent comic book to movie adaptation.

This is one I forgot about whenever I read the thread title, but I enjoyed this one very much.

I enjoy Netflix’s Death Note. I think it’s a lot of fun.

I can’t believe that License to Kill is “generally considered bad”, it’s in my top3 Bond films if not even in the first place. I mean, you can have feel it’s not your cup of tea but I can’t see how it actually is bad. It has good actors, pretty locations, a cool villain, great action, nice 80’s set pieces… Some feel that From Russia with Love is their favorite Bond films and I don’t like it at all but I still don’t consider it as bad. Die Another Day on another hand, now that is bad and belongs in this thread if someone would like it.

It isn’t generally considered bad anymore. Maybe 10-15 years ago it was, but even then it got good reviews.

A lot of people that hate the “bad” Bond movies act like all of the previous ones were high art, which is ridiculous. “James Bond used to be cinematic gold until Brosnan ruined it!” or “I can’t believe how unrealistic Skyfall was! They jumped the shark!” and they act as though James Bond hasn’t already literally been to outer space in this series. Why can’t people just have fun with them? There’s not a single Bond movie I don’t enjoy to at least some degree.

Is Evolution from 2000ish (with David Duchovny, Orlando Jones, Julianne Moore) considered bad?

Because if it is, then Evolution.

I loved that movie as a kid. Haven’t seen it in full for a long time, but some days ago, I was zapping through the channels and stumbled upoon it. I watched the middle part before going to bed, and I have to say I still enjoyed it.

I don’t if most would consider it bad (as opposed to just not good), but I love Revenge of the Sith.

I’m also of the opinion that the Harry Potter films got worse as they went on, with the Columbus films being fantastic while the Yates films are barely watchable.

I enjoy all three Jurassic Park films, but hated Jurassic World.

I genuinely don’t see anything wrong with Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Seriously, what is it about this film that people don’t like?

And since someone mentioned a TV episode, I was watching the Doctor Who story The Celestial Toymaker recently, and thought it was much better than people give it credit for. It may not be the masterpiece people expected when it was missing, but it’s still pretty good.

There’s only one episode of TCT in existence so it’s hard to judge that story as a whole.

I was a bit bored by The Enemy of The World until they found all the missing episodes. Now it’s one of my favorites of the era.

Yes most would consider it bad.

It’s odd cause most people I have personally talked to, would say they do not like the movie BUTTTTT…

Rotten tomatoes, IMDB, and Cinemascore all record an overall positive rating for the movie. So I guess most people don’t like it as I would have guessed.

Yeah, I don’t think ROTS is “generally considered ‘bad’” in the sense that something like Freddy Got Fingered is considered bad.
