I don’t think giving a movie a new title counts as a fanedit… But that’s just me. I also don’t judge a movie by its title, it really has nothing to do with the quality of a movie. But again that’s just me.

I’m already starting to see beyond the title … there are two eyes (the O’s), the L looks like a nose and the S looks like an ear or an ear with hair.
Rogue One is redundant. Just play the first mission of DARK FORCES.

Why not call it something like Little Wing or Kessel Run or Space Race or something that is just a normal title? Why does it have to include Han’s name. From a marketing purpose I know why, but from an artistic point of view it’s forced.

I agree. This title seems to fit everything we’ve seen and heard from the production though.
Why does it have to include Han’s name. From a marketing purpose I know why, but from an artistic point of view it’s forced.
If you’re looking for artistic intent, I don’t think this is the film for you.

I’ve got no problem with the “a Star Wars story” part. Keeps the fairy tale vibe and it’s proper branding.
I think it’s a good tag for the spin-offs.

To clarify, I’ve no problem with the simple existence of the “A Star Wars Story” suffix. Its use here with a solo word just kind of blends wrong to me.

Some people hate “Solo” while some people hate “Star Wars Story” so I think we can all agree it’s the perfect Star Wars title for most of the fanbase, which is never happy.

I just wish “a star wars story” was properly translated for the other languages, but no: it’s always “a star wars story” no matter where you are, like it’s a brand. Whatever, Disney… :\

Solo: A Star Wars Story doesn’t sound good to me. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story sounded more fluid. Solo on its own sounds good. Technically A Star Wars Story is just a little tagline while the movies are just called Rogue One or Solo.
