You didn’t have Star Wars? What kind of monster has been living in our midst this whole time?
Also, unless you bought the GOUT, it’s technically not 1977.
Yeah, it’s the GOUT. That’s why it took me so long to get my hands on it. Before now I was stuck with the Faces tape.
Save your money up, buy the Blu, and go get Despecialized.
Time again for another updated list of my complete collection.

I picked a DVD copy of this up at a thrift store after I got the Bluray and I’m glad I did. I love this movie.
I’m guessing the Blu-ray isn’t very good?

The bluray is pretty nice but I like having DVD versions of films I really enjoy in case all I have available is a DVD player to watch them on. Films like this especially didn’t receive an awful lot of releases so when I come across one and it only costs me $0.99 USD to nab, I’m all over it.

Ever since I was a wee lad I wanted to see every Robin Hood movie ever made. It’s not a burning desire so much as a sustained curiosity. According to Wikipedia, there are a whole lot of them to see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_films_and_television_series_featuring_Robin_Hood
However, I’ve limited myself to only Robin Hood movies released in theaters. From that list I own the following, annotated with their best quality:
The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938) - The best Robin Hood, period.
The Story of Robin Hood and his Merrie Men (1952) - The best Maid Marion.
Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991) - The best outlaw hideout.
Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993) - The best Errol Flynn since the original.
Robin Hood (2010) - The best rendition of a realistic England.
Furthermore, I have seen and wish to own:
Walt Disney’s Robin Hood (1973) - The best Prince John, Friar Tuck.
Robin and Marian (1976) - The best old man Robin (sorry, Russel Crowe).
This leaves me with quite a few movies yet to see, mostly from the 20’s-60’s era. Does anyone have a recommendation of a version of the tale (TV or film) that I simply must see?
You probably don’t recognize me because of the red arm.
Episode 9 Rewrite, The Starlight Project (Released!) and ANH Technicolor Project (Released!)

Isn’t there a silent version with Douglas Fairbanks? Could’ve sworn it was made around the time of The Mark of Zorro. No, not the Tyrone Power version. There’s also the 1980’s UK TV show, Robin of Sherwood. I recommend it but not fully, only because I haven’t seen it in ages and I need to rewatch it soon. Even has Jason Connery, Sean’s son, playing Robin Hood in the latter part of the series. There’s also a Robin Hood movie which was also in 1991 starring Patrick Bergin (sp?). Was shown on TV in the US of A but I believe it was shown in cinemas overseas. I might’ve seen it ages ago but for all it’s worth and if you can find it, I suggest watching it.
My complete DVD/HD DVD/Blu-ray disc/UHD collection. It’d be too long to list each title. (Blu-ray.com link should be fully updated with BD and UHD. FilmAF has the first two formats included. Yes I import too! Too much of a wishlist though.)

There’s a short Swedish cartoon movie from 1975 which is shown on TV every Christmas Eve called “Christopher’s Christmas Mission” in English. It’s not about Robin Hood, but about a boy who works at the post office and idolizes Robin Hood. One Christmas he decides to take all the outgoing packages for rich people and hand them out to poor people. It’s a real classic in Sweden and a favorite of mine. I guess it doesn’t really fit your criteria, but it’s a nice little film anyhow.

Jesus guys.
The point being that Fargo is an excellent movie, so clearly there must be another story here, and I’d like to hear it.
But I changed my mind and now I no longer have interest.
No Star Wars Blu-Ray coffee? (Maybe it’s on your shelf) I don’t blame you anyway. Best things of the saga bluray are definitely the bonus material discs and content.
