also, i would like to bitch about the work i have to do tonight. i am always a procrastinator, so its no surprise that i find myself in this situation. but i have a crap ton of development and testing to get done before a customer call/demo tomorrow afternoon.

JEDIT: if this was ~15 years ago and i was in college, i would totally decide that the best way to get my work done would be to watch a movie, eat something, and then really start working around 3 am. I like to think i have changed.

Post office is doing that food bank donation thing today. Put mine in the bag provided about six feet from mailbox on my front steps where it could easily be seen from the curb. (Thought someone might swipe it if I put right on the curb.) Mailman never even saw it if they looked at all. 😕

I added music to my iPhone through my computer, realized I forgot to add cover art, deleted the music from my phone, added the cover art, but now I can’t re-add the music because iTunes on my computer says it’s all still on my phone (now with an exclamation mark!), despite the phone music app disagreeing.
EDIT: Music works now, but cover art still doesn’t show up on the phone. Hm… This probably shouldn’t bother me as much as it does.

I would like to state for the record that I do not appreciate how discussion of trailers and other official material is allowed in non-spoiler threads. If you’re trying to avoid spoilers, like me, you’re probably also trying to avoid trailers. I think the stance that official material can not count as spoilers is ridiculous. Trailers and previews are deliberately designed to reveal things about the movie they are trailering or previewing. Therefore, they are spoilers in the same way, say, leaks from the set are spoilers. If you’re trying to accomplish a full media blackout, now you can’t read the spoiler thread or the non-spoiler thread.

I agree. “Non-spoiler” shouldn’t be open to interpretation at all. If it’s information, images or trailers about a movie or tv show that’s out before the official release then it could potentially spoil something for somebody somewhere.
Everybody has different standards of what “spoiler” means so we need to have somewhere that’s free from new information or else what’s the point in having two threads at all?

Yeah, the trailer for TLJ totally spoiled for me that it would have characters from TFA and would have scenes in space. I didn’t need to know that!

I don’t know, I never thought of trailers and teasers as spoilers. I mean they are designed by the studios to be watched before one watches the movie itself. I doubt any trailer or teaser of ESB revealed who Luke’s father was. But, maybe you are right.

That’s sort of the point though. Personally I only watch teaser trailers for movies and try to avoid everything else that comes after for fear of getting spoiled but there’s plenty of people who don’t want any information. If you’re going to have a non-spoiler thread then it should put those people’s wishes first.

Yeah,but what would people discuss in the non-spoiler thread if trailers and posters are considered spoilers? Would they just write how excited they are for the movie over and over again?
