I’m sure Burton thought he was being clever casting Keaton but Batman is a tall intimidating character. Keaton is an average build comic actor who at no point feels like Batman.
He is okay as Bruce but that suit only underlined how inappropriate he is in the role with it’s thick unmoveable rubber neck and the stupid biker gloves. The script is awful too.

True, it was bad that the suit had no neck movement. Atleast Burton’s Batman suits didn’t have “Bat Nipples”.
Maybe it’s the nostalgia, but I liked Keaton as Batman. If Keaton’s not your cup of tea, then to each his own.

Do you like Adam West’s version of Batman?

Yes because he is a pretty accurate representation of the character at that time in the comics. I wish someone would do a version of Superman where the title character is a complete dick to Jimmy Olsen and drives him to do some pretty bizarre things. It would be more fun than the current movies.

Well, to be fair to the current movies, he did let Jimmy get shot in the head. Pretty dick-ish thing to do if you ask me. 😛

The 60’s Batman was a great show. I watched the reruns on TV when I was younger. I still like it, that I bought the Complete Series BluRay collection that comes with the Hotwheels Batmobile.

I’ve never read any of the classic Superman comics. I don’t like the current Superman, Batman, DC Universe movies. Man of Steel was ok, but waaaay too long. I slept through Batman V Superman. I have no interest in seeing Suicide Squad. I may check out the Wonderwoman movie, but even that ehh…

Did you like Christopher Reeves as Superman and any of those movies?

Only if you listen to it on a Victrola.

Pssh, why listen to fake recorded music when you have the real deal? (I don’t have an actual harpsichord and I probably wouldn’t have the patience to learn it anyway.

Fake?

Because recorded music is clearly a fake version of listening to the music in person. (I’m hoping it’s clear that I’m pretending to be snobbish)

Pretending? 😉

Is the 404 one a joke, or an image link that no longer works? It’s a bit cluttered in any case.

Both. It was a link that expired in less than an hour of me using it and Frink suggested I keep the broken link there as a joke.

You’re right, though, I should probably clean it up. I’ll do that now.

Wow!
http://bloody-disgusting.com/news/3424921/holy-shit-never-seen-ghostbusters-deleted-scenes-unearthed/

Ray Stantz having a sexual encounter with a ghost while dressed in period attire. A small snippet of the scene made its way into a montage sequence, but the full scene has never before been seen.

Eh. Honestly, I’ve never understood people’s fascination with deleted scenes.

It’s often a glimpse into how a movie was originally conceived, and gives insight to the editing process. I know I’d love to see the footage Kubrick removed from 2001 and The Shining not long after they were released. I’d love to see all the lost The Wizard Of Oz footage too.

And where would fanedits be without deleted scenes? 😉

I’ve heard that Kubrick destroyed his deleted scenes. I’m not sure if that’s true though.

The 2001 trims were found in the salt mine MGM/Warners uses for a film vault a few years back. (My money is on them being included as an extra in a 50th anniversary video release next year.) The pie fight from Dr. Stangelove is also rumored to exist.

Unused footage from The Shining was allegedly burned, but the many hours of footage Vivian Kubrick shot for her making of documentary now reside in the Kubrick Archive in the UK, along with footage she shot for a never completed doc on Full Metal Jacket.

There was supposed to be a pie fight scene in Dr. Strangelove?

That would’ve really changed the tone for the movie, if they left that in.

There’s a pie fight in Dawn of the Dead. Totally derails the movie for about 2 minutes.

Pics or it didn’t happen ray😜
I was told about the pie fight scene in Dr. Strangelove. But there were no pics to support this, therefore didn’t happen. I’m not believing that about DOTD. God damn it, someone had to mention bout the doco of Full Metal Jacket. Now I’m going to spend the rest of my days hungry to track it down.
