I truly despise this style of haircut:

It’s just so uneven and ugly, and what’s even worse is that 90 percent of boys at my school have it.

This is a trend that’s picked up in just the past 4-5 years or so and it’s awful. I’m disheartened to hear 90% of your local population has succumbed to it. I don’t even know where it came from.

For reference, this is what people’s hair looked like at my school:

I’m not sure that’s any better, honestly.

I wish I had some Pepto Bismol or Tums lying around. It feels like I’ve got battery acid sitting inside my stomach.

That’s what my hair has looked like for the last 20 years, so I’m kind of biased, but that is a completely natural hairstyle.

Rest assured, it’s better. Although I may also be biased, not because my hair particularly looks like that, but because I also sport (and prefer on others) a completely natural style. Mines quite curly though. Looks quite suave and professional when it’s short (it’s not the “bunched up” kind of curl, when short it just looks wavy), while when longer it has more of a Frodo Baggins look. So I go in cycles where I let it it grow out and have the frodo look for a while because it actually does look quite good (I’m not somebody that likes to brag on myself, but I will admit that I have really good hair according to women and it’s very thick and according to my family history I’m likely to have it until the day I die as thick hair runs in the family and baldness does not) then cut it off again and go back to the “suave” look. (not the shampoo, the word. Lol)

My hair isn’t curly and not all that thick, but it hasn’t receded at all and there aren’t any bald men in my family history on either my mom or dad’s side, so I lucked out there.

Actually, there are some incredibly handsome and awesome bald men. For example: Patrick Stewart, Bruce Willis, Sean Connery, and Vin Diesel depending on the lighting.

I’ve got fly-away hair but I keep a somewhat modified military cut. I prefer to keep the hair off my neck. When I was younger I did have long hair but the Army changed all that.

Maybe I should stop using Netflix for anything other than sitcoms and other things I don’t care enough about to watch in >DVD quality. I want to scream and just buy the Blu-Ray set of Star Trek TNG even though I shouldn’t spend all that money right now. I’m stuck at 384p right now and I’ve peaked at just 480 before dipping back down.

That sucks, Netflix does 1080p no problem for me.

The huge push towards a total digital future is unfeasible with how crap the internet is. The people who advocate for it clearly don’t travel much or live outside huge urban areas. The tech just isn’t ready.

TNG is between 80 and 100 dollars on Amazon right now. Well worth the price.

Disagree. The tech is there, it’s just the telecom monopolies in the US don’t/aren’t willing to pay to lay down the infrastructure to bring it to everyone. Or really anyone.

That’s essentially what I meant. If it’s not there it isn’t ready to be relied on entirely yet. Put in the infrastructure and then it’s feasible. I don’t really find a digital world all that appealing anyway, though.

Why can’t anyone be frank? Why can’t people say “Let’s do something” and just do it? Why does everyone seem to think they have to come up with a complex battle plan just to ask someone out? Where did clear, concise language go? I’m so sick of the art of communication being dead.
