What are you drinking?

Didn’t see a result from this in the searches, so either it was stated in Klingon, or the poster was completely smashed by the time they decided to start the thread, misspelled horribly, and completely forgot about the whole affair upon sobering up. If that is the case, I’ll gladly take a link, and this thread can die along with my hopes and dreams.

Don’t care if it’s tea, water, wine, the blood of your enemies, etc. Are you listening to music at the time? Do you have a podcast playing? Are you trying a new beer? Give it a review, do what you want.

Whatcha drinkin’

For when I’m feeling the drinking bug, it’s a small glass of Evan Williams black label bourbon on the rocks.

I’d go into more detail about it, but I’d sound like an advertisement. It’s getting a bit ridiculous to go to the liquor stores these days. You’ve got these kids that have been drinking, maybe 2 years, and they give you a long spiel about why you should by the 100 dollar bottle on the top shelf because it’s old. I’ve drank an aged scotch before, and I don’t think the flavor was worth an extra 60 dollars. Anyways, didn’t mean to turn this into a rant…yes I did.

Anyway, here’s a beautiful picture of booze:

"The other versions will disappear. Even the 35 million tapes of Star Wars out there won’t last more than 30 or 40 years. A hundred years from now, the only version of the movie that anyone will remember will be the DVD version [of the Special Edition], and you’ll be able to project it on a 20’ by 40’ screen with perfect quality. I think it’s the director’s prerogative, not the studio’s to go back and reinvent a movie." - George Lucas

I’m acutely drinking Evan Williams as well, mixed with caffeine free coke (I never use stimulants ever, except the mild and non complete stimulant properties weed had). Watching it’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. It’s quite nice.

Caffeine and anxiety don’t mix well for me, but I’ve been drinking coffee so long, and at such a high rate, it would be like coming off heroin for me to quit. I quit cigarettes with little effort, but coffee is another matter.

I drank a small bottle of Coors a number of hours ago. It gave me an irritated throat, congested sinuses, and a low-throbbing headache.

No, beer certainly doesn’t agree with me. Not in the least.

Thought you were on the wagon at present?

I fell off a few days ago. Might try to get back on once I finish drinking everything that I bought, or at least be partially on the wagon (drinking a beer or two only and at night only, which is where I was for a while until my personal life took a sad turn and I went back out of sheer depression)

Coffee. I had another coffee before, but it had some of this insanely pungent “Sweet & Spicy” tea in it from last night. It was okay, but the insanity of the aroma was too much.

My room smells faintly of it and I had to wash my mug out.

Anyway, how do people take their coffee? I went very black and never went back.

I loathe coffee. Once I got old and started having trouble staying awake in the morning, I developed a nasty Diet Coke habit, which I’ve since swapped out for Iced Tea.

Well I guess you’re off the Christmas card list.

Coffee turns my soul into a liquid and bean gumbo soup.

I’m afraid that I’ll develop a coffee addiction if I ever have some. As of yet, I’ve been able to ignore it completely. Nothing beats some nice apple juice, or Dr. Pepper, or red creme soda. I try to avoid anything I might develop a nasty habit for.

I’ve got a nasty habit for soft drinks. I try to stick to the diet sodas, though, and avoid the sugary stuff (unless its Coke or Pepsi; I always prefer regular when it comes to them).

Coffee might as well be literal shit.

I’m drinking water. These days, that’s all I ever try to drink.

Me too, it’s the one thing I’ve tried to kick, but haven’t been able to. Problem is, for me, it’s much cheaper and much more easily available than anything healthier, so it’s almost practical to keep to it. The tap water here is not great, leaving only bottled water.

Beer- No lights. No IPAs.

I used to avoid lights but in my advancing age I gotta watch my girlish figure.

I’m so-so on IPAs, depending on how hoppy. Less hoppy is better.

My favorite style is wheat.
