Yep. Buy an official Nintendo 64 console. Is it true about the fact that Project 64 is full of viruses, spyware, keyloggers and so on after any build after 1.6?

No. Just a rumor people started because of an unofficial build somebody made that had it. The worst the official build has is annoying requests to donate and it tries to install other shit when you install it but you just have to click no thanks.

I have an n64 and games but I emulate because I can play in HD and have hi res texture packs.

There’s actually legal ways to get roms if you have a wii and it’s on the virtual console you can buy it and transfer it to an sd card and there’s a utility that can extract the Rom out of it and it’ll pay on an emulator cuz that’s all the virtual console is. And for the Nintendo 64 Zelda titles I extracted the Rom files from my disc of the GameCube release because all it was was straight emulation as well. So you can enjoy the benefits of emulation without piracy so long as the game was released on the virtual console or something similar.

During my long hiatus from the boards, I added a lot of games to my n64 collection. A lot of them were repurchases, because I had shady-ass friends that liked to pocket my games when they came over during my childhood. I’ve got more than I feel like counting at the moment. There’s still some games I’d like to get, but they aren’t going for cheap enough.

Have you ever played the rehash of the great Super Famicon original. Its at best average. And the Gaycube one is just alright again.

They had a free download promotion of that when I first got the WiiU.
The little guys kept telling me a superspeed sail was on some island or another, but I got to the island and couldn’t find it, and I was like “I’m not fucking sailing around at regular speed anymore” and I lost interest and quit after completing maybe 9% of the game.
I’m a pretty huge Zelda fan, but that particular one isn’t good enough for me to tolerate the fucking sailing again, after having completed 100-ish% on its initial release.
I’m getting somewhat excited for BotW.

Been playing on my PC LEGO MARVEL Super Heroes, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, The Witcher 1, METRO 2033, and Civilization V.

I’m a few hours into Wind Waker HD now. So far, it’s great. I can see why people complained about the slow sailing on the GC version, but the new Swift Sail takes care of that and it’s available pretty early on.

This is a good question. I never played the Wii version, but from what I understand, it’s a mirror of the GC version, making Link right handed like most of their players. Since it was developed in parallel, I’m going to say it doesn’t count as a port, and it’s first party anyway.

FURTHER CLARIFICATION: Is it a Wii port of a third party game? Then it probably sucks.
