I evidently already posted in this thread. Some of these choices are odd, like Amelie and Birdman, not the ones I’d choose for a top 10 anymore, but the rest are still up there, just not in that order.
Every time I try to form a top ten list, I always regret my order in seconds, or remember a movie that I hadn’t thought of prior to forming the list. So I gave up trying. Star Wars (1977) is #1 though. After that, I can never decide.

Ugh, this list is hard because my parents never allowed any rated R movies screened at our house. Obviously I have been able to see a few but I can definitely see this list being quite different a few years into college, when I get some time to explore Hitchcock, Kubrick, and Tarantino. Nevertheless, here it goes…

I enjoy Aliens for what it is, but it’s barely a sequel to Alien. The “Assembly Cut” of Alien 3 (the Blu-ray version with its rerecorded dialog and fixed effects) is much closer in tone and quality to the first movie in my opinion.
