Can I burn the despecialized edition onto a special edition blu ray?

I’d love to put the despecialized edition onto my blu ray disks of the OT that I already own. Is there any way to burn over what’s on the disk already?

No, only BD-RE (Blu-ray Disc Recordable Erasable) discs can be erased and re-recorded. Your shop-bought Blu-rays will be on pressed discs.
