I like Max von Sydow’s performance, Harris Yulin’s performance, the courtroom scene, the ghost train scene, the flying nanny ghost scene, and the ghost Titanic scene too much to possibly dismiss them all.

^Example of remarks to dislike.
I’ll give Ghostbusters 2 one thing: “Everything you’re doing is very bad. I want you to know this.” That line is funny. But it’s not nearly enough to save the rest of the film. It’s also a perfect comment on the film itself.

Lil Wayne - Always Strapped (original)

I’d listen to all the screamingest, growliest, most blasphemous death metal in the world before I’d ever voluntarily listen to a single minute of a single Lil Wayne “song”.

…You don’t know in prime Wayne. I have listened to the greats whether it be K.Dot, Tupac, Eminem, Jay-Z, Big L, Nas etc. and Wayne in his prime is on par with all of them and sustained quality material for damn near a decade before falling off. But we live in a world where the “is bad now = always bad” hive mind thinking is very prevalent so it’s just something I’m used to. Also you haven’t listened to Wayne in his prime so you can’t form an opinion about the music he made at that particular time.

Eminem…and Wayne [are] on par …

Haha fucking lol.
I think the stark contrast between Em’s and Wayne’s verses on No Love has a little something to say about that asinine statement.

Eminem also killed Jay-Z on Renegade so…

Gold - Kiiara

Heard this song randomly on the radio the other day and it lodged in my brain. That’s pop for ya; always strangely gets jammed in there somehow.

I like the song though.

Keep Circulating the Tapes.

J. Cole - False Prophets

Holy shit dude

Not impressed with the instrumental, but Cole’s delivery and lyrics are great as always.

It doesn’t match the menace he brings in the form of his lyrics but in general it’s a dope beat. I wonder how Ye and Drake is going to this. Did you hear “Everybody Gotta Die” as well?
