There was a Duracell bunny years before the Energizer bunny?

And Energizer gets away with ripping off the idea because the Duracell copyright expired? Wow.

The Duracell bunny is more cute.

The Duracell bunny looks like crap compared to the Energizer bunny.

I agree. The Energizer Bunny is too '80s. Has a sort of California Raisins, Max Headroom vibe.

Perhaps, but that’s like saying the Pillsbury Doughboy is too 60’s. You mess with something iconic, and risk ruining what made it popular in the first place. Have you seen the new nightmare inducing Teddy Ruxpin? 😉

I like Max. He’s overdue for a revival. And CGI has reached the point Matt Frewer doesn’t have to wear the makeup anymore.

That was a big deal when I was in college. Amazing the people who pulled that illegal broadcast off have never been caught.

I look up to the ones behind it, in a strange way. Not that I condone such action, but it’s a fairly harmless prank that took mad guts and skill to pull off and never get caught.

Actually, I take that back. They interrupted Doctor Who, those jerks should pay for their crimes!

But the Doughboy is a classic - a classic I tell ya.
😉

Ruxpin’s always been a little creepy.

The running time of “Rogue One” has been revealed via an Australian listing to be 133 minutes.

The Usual complaints about it’s not long enough have ensued after this leak.

Let’s hope it’s tight and well paced.

That’s over 2 hours. What do these savages want, three hours or more?

A new generation has grown up watching interminable (piece of shit) movies such as Pirates of the caribbean and Transformers (or Harry Potter and the endless story, or The Hobbit goes for a 9 hours walk), perhaps that’s why under 150 minutes is considered “too short”…

Yeah. I love the Marvel movies, but they mostly all clock in at well over two hours.

I’m totally down with a tighter runtime.

I will settle for nothing less than 1138 hours.

At some point in the film the protagonists should stop to watch all the previous SW films in a marathon, and we should see it unfold in real time.

Let’s not forget this is well within the range of average SW film runtime.
