Even if it’s not such a great looking Tarkin, I would have loved to see more of him in ROTS. Just a couple of scenes, nothing more.

Hopefully George Lucas wouldn’t ruin yet another character.

About Mon Mothma’s age:

  • In ROTJ ("+4"), let’s assume she’s 50 yo (Caroline Blakiston, who got the part, was 50 yo in 1983 - she still lives nowadays… caméo in the ST could be a possibility);

  • In ROTS (deleted scenes, “-19”), with the assumption she’s 50 in “+4”, she’s 27 in “-19”. Genevieve O’Reilly, who took the part (and who still has it in Rogue One), was 28 yo in 2005;

  • In Rogue One (year 0, roughly one or two weeks before ANH I guess), she’s then supposed to be 46 yo. Genevieve O’Reilly is 39 yo this year.

So the age difference is not really an issue. She looks younger in Rogue One but not that younger. Having to lead the rebellion after the death of Bail Organa was no easy task.

Nice assessment there. I pretty much agree wholeheartedly.

Yeah, that comic book with a sexy catwoman was just aimed at men and was sabotaged by women.

It doesn’t work that way.

You’ll have to elaborate. From now on just assume that I’m too stupid to understand what you’re implying.

In this case, you can’t just take the fact that men tend to give media with women led casts lower ratings, reverse it, and just say it’s true.

Zootopia

A fine family film, other than a clunky exposition-dump intro, the generic pop song, and a frustratingly stupid scene at the start of the third act.

B

I give this review an A, especially when compared to thejediknighthusezni’s review of the same movie.

By that standard, every review of the movie ever gets an A.

Almost everything gets an A when compared to thejediknighthusezni.

I think it’s funny when two people go at each other calling each other mad.

“Why are you so mad, dude, calm down.”

“I’m not mad, you’re obviously mad and projecting your madness onto me, just calm down dude.”

“Woah dude, calm down, no need to get so mad.”

If you have enough arguments on the Internet, you start to notice some patterns. . . .

Note to ywhx, this last bit is ad hominem, as it does not address the issue, but merely attempts to defeat argument by attacking the man. I point this out to you because you, feeling like Lord Haseo, would not point out his faults. To really hold a legitimate point of view, you must be willing to challenge your own views. I do not see you as willing to do so.

I am always willing to change my views. I always view my opinions as in a box and can be changed at any time.

Why not a purse? Or a backpack? Or a briefcase?

My brain just visualizes certain things as certain objects. That being said, I am always willing to change my internal representation of opinions at any time. [sic]
