What do you look for in a friend?

I’ve kept my eye on this question for awhile now and I’m really surprised that so few people have answered it seriously.

In my defense, I’ve never had a close friend, and no casual friends since high school, so it’s not a question I could seriously answer.

Well I consider you an internet friend. Does that count for anything?

Sometimes I put my foot in my mouth.

I hope no one took the post above the wrong way;

I didn’t.

I can’t speak for Platinum beyond the fact that sometime around there was the start of Sunday funny papers, but the Atom Age refers to the decline of superhero stories after the war as comics began to lean more towards horror stories and atomic bomb anxieties. By the mid-fifties, Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman were the only remaining supers with their own comics.

How many times has DC rebooted it’s universe?

The ones I can think of:

Crisis on infinite earths

Zero hour

Final Crisis?

New 52

Rebirth

Showcase #4 (Also, Rebirth isn’t technically a reboot, but eh, semantics really).

Why isn’t it a reboot?

A reboot, at least how I see it, is a universal restart of continuity. Rebirth was just a retcon of some elements of the previous reboot (almost entirely undid the reboot for the Superman books, but for, say, Flash, they just re-introduced some characters previously rebooted out of existence).

By that standard, Zero Hour isn’t a reboot, either.

I stand by it, then, though I haven’t read that one so idk.
