I read that post in an Early Cuyler voice and it made me ALLOL.
He did recently, check it out!

Looks great!
It’s getting a little warm in here. Everybody take a deep breath, and chill?
Calming down isn’t going to change the score. Jedi isn’t going to be better than Empire because I decide to take a five minute time out.
True, but if you step back for a moment, you just might realize it doesn’t matter. At all.
^ I’m agreein’ with all of that. I have no problem with Anikin being Vader, but I’m with you all the way on the thoughts about ROTJ.
Back to the Future: 9/10

What’s the Wizard of Oz joke in Jedi?
Many people seem to think the “eyeball” robot in Jabbas door is referencing the little fella in Oz’s door.
I think it’s just referencing the same thing Oz was- the ol’ eye looking out the slide-window in a speakeasy door.
I guess maybe the image is more familiar to American audiences than the rest of the planet, but I see no reference to Oz. it’s an old scenario.

I now believe his TFA enthusiasm isn’t just about finally getting to die.
People keep mentioning that Harrison desperately wants Han to die. But this isn’t true! He’s even said recently in an interview with Kimmel that he only suggested it for Jedi because he believed it would really ramp up the tension, not because he doesn’t like the character.
And I don’t believe Han will die in the new film. I certainly hope he doesn’t. It would have added much needed tension in ROTJ, but now that we’re seeing and older and wiser Han (proven by the trailers) it would be better to have him fade into the background than to crash and burn.
I do think someone’s goin’ down though. I kinda think it will be Finn… I only doubt this because killing the only black character would create a ton of harsh headlines. So maybe he won’t die, but be badly wounded.
Or maybe I’m altogether wrong! That’s the best thing about the new film- Unlike the PT, we gots no idea who will end up where!
ALLOL!
As soon as I saw the top of George’s head.
That’s been bugging me too, but I didn’t want to break Telecine’s combo.
So what wound up being the story with the 4K Texas Chain Saw Massacre remaster? Did it have the original mono or not?
It does.
I’ve noticed you’ve not been around much Ender.
I hope you get time to return soon. And I hope the busy things in your life are good busy, not bad busy!
We first meet her as a spoiled royalty in ANH.
She seems like a high-ranking rebel… Actually, she seems exactly what Vader labelled her: a rebel spy.
You’ve already disagreed with yourself.
So is she “spoiled royalty” or a “high-ranking rebel spy”?
Answer if ya wanna, but I couldn’t care any less.
I think in ANH there is actually no evidence she is any kind of military leader. She seems like a high-ranking rebel with non-military role. Actually, she seems exactly what Vader labelled her: a rebel spy.
Ok, so replace where I wrote “military leader” with “high-ranking rebel spy” if that makes a huge difference to you.
My point is that she isn’t some posh princess when we meet her in ANH.
Nah. The story and especially the character decisions would be stupid in any format.
It’s very weird to me how many people don’t understand Leia’s character.
She may be the princess of Alderaan, but she’s mostly using that as a ruse to hide the fact that she’s a leader of the Rebellion. That’s why she uses the false accent when speaking to Vader and Tarkin.
She isn’t “spoiled royalty” in ANH, she’s a military leader and the only one of our heroes who knows how to take charge and “save (their) skins”. She’s the only one who even knows where she is, much less what’s going on in the bigger picture. And her rescuers have arrived (by accident) in and old beat-up rat rod.
It’s not like she’s complaining about getting her dress dirty or breaking a nail.
And as for her becoming queen at the end of ROTJ… Queen of what??
I’ve always hated that idea.
Leia’s line is also important because she’s pointing out that the stormtroopers aren’t terrible at aiming, but that they were “letting (them) go”.
I agree with the points that Bingo mentioned. I don’t think her decision to return to the base creates any story problems. It’s the last and only chance they have.
Just wondering out loud… Can any of you guys think about a situation where there comes a new SW movie that is actually better than any of the OT?
For me, it’s impossible. Star Wars and Empire have been with me from birth and are ingrained in me. The characters, the locations, the story are all… part of me… that sounds lame, but I can’t find better words.
The new films have tons of potential to be good, even great, but they haven’t been with me as long. I’ve met new friends this year, but the storied past I have with others can’t be matched by someone new.
- Leia doesn’t know that the Empire is tracking the Millenium Falcon and then proceed directly to the Alliance base anyway (treason? insanity?)
The Empire was tracking them, so no matter where they went, the Empire would follow, kill them and take back the plans. Their only hope was to out run them in Han’s hotrod, get the plans to the rebels and hope to find and exploitable weakness in the big slow space station before it got to them.
The only change I’d make is to put Luke in his flight suit during the mission briefing to show that some time has passed and he’s ready to go. Keeping him in his old clothes makes it seem like it all happens the same day.
I don’t see the reason to have any pic in your sig. But, like Impscum just said, if they were avatar size, it wouldn’t be as annoying.
And Danfun’s sig is longer than most lengthy posts.
Why do people feel the need to have big pictures or walls of text in their signatures?
It’s very annoying.

to the guy who said Leia and Han should have split up… NO. just no. that would be truly ridiculous and make no sense. Why would that be ridiculous and make no sense?
It would be ridiculous because we’ve spent three movies watching them fall in love. Having them split would be a spit in the face similar to starting Alien3 with Hicks and Newt dead.
It’s better then the current official versions.
