Really? The Naboo fighters were one of the very few designs I liked from the PT. R2 practicality or not, it’s a better looking ship and didn’t rely on recycled bits of ships we’ve already seen just to make it look ‘Star Wars’.

I don’t mind the little TIEs, but I’m not diggin’ this U-Wing. Maybe it’ll grow on me. One of the things I like about the OT is that not every thing looked super cool. Made the world more real. But those engines on the back just look SO out of place to me…

I agree. But, I do kinda like that they’re saying “That’s the name of the book, that’s the name of the movie”. Not like they’re taking some kind of stand or anything, but I can appreciate that they’re sticking to the original title. I didn’t know it was based on anything until Bing’s post.
Still, titling the movie The Big Friendly Giant and then referring to him as “The B.F.G.” in the movie would be better, I think.

I read it at least one a year.
It’s a retelling of the Gwen Stacy/Mary Jane relationship told through Peter Parkers reminiscing. Some of the best villains appear and the art is great. Can’t recommend it enough!

Every time I see an ad for The BFG, all I can think is “The Big Fuckin’… Guy? Gun? Gatsby?”
It’s a terrible title and I can’t be the only one who thinks so.

Isn’t the hole bigger because Luke just crashed through it? I guess you’re saying it’s suddenly that big before he goes out…
