  1. Trump signs Executive Orders that he does not fully review.
  2. He ends his day, home alone, without his wife or kids, at about 6:30pm
  3. He then changes into a bathrobe and mopes around.
  4. He is obsessed with the decor of the White House.
  5. He is literally looking at books of curtain designs and thinking about Interior Design, giving people tours and telling lies about what came from where.

A deeply disturbing article.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/02/05/us/politics/trump-white-house-aides-strategy.html?_r=1

I stole this list from a comment I saw on the same story.

Basically, Trump either:

  1. doesn’t read what he’s signing
  2. doesn’t understand what he’s signing
  3. thinks he can sign it and then claim someone pulled a fast one on him and pulled a switcheroo and made him sign something entirely different than what he thought he was signing
  4. he’s saying this so he can throw someone under the bus that he doesn’t like - i.e. blame Joe McShithead for this so he can fire him
  5. he was briefed, doesn’t remember being told that was a part of the document
  6. some sort of mental illness like dementia that just hasn’t been diagnosed yet
  7. Did know what he was doing when he signed it, but saw the SNL skit and realized people think/know Bannon is controlling him. Got mad at Bannon because of this and came up with this “master plan” to punish Bannon.
pick one or pick a bunch - it’s a salad bar of shitty things and America is holding a pair of tongs

This is the order: https://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2017/01/28/presidential-memorandum-organization-national-security-council-and

wordcounter.net estimates you can read it in 6 minutes and 45 seconds.

if we go back to Trump’s words, he has expressed disdain for anything short of brief descriptions of anything. its how he wants his daily security breifings, its how he wants anything else. ever day that goes by, it seems like anyone who is suprised by trump, wasn’t paying attention. and it seems like anyone who still supports trump, also isn’t paying attention to ANYTHING. the public consensus about Trump will certainly be solidified 5 years from now, and it will be all negative. I don’t think we will get to that point until he is out of office however. to many are hoping for the best, so keep ignoring what is right in front of them.

this was all my opinion, but it doesn’t make it wrong.

JEDIT: ^look at all those typos! crap

How do long distance communication work in the star wars universe?

Maybe long-distance calls are an extra space dollar a minute, so they try not to call if they can avoid it.

LOL. also a great point. If real life is what you are comparing star wars against, then there are several factors that go into why you do something a certain way, and even if the ‘best’ way is possible, you might no do it because you just didn’t think of it at the time, you aren’t used to doing it that way, or you didn’t have the cash / latest version of the app.

http://deadspin.com/shad-khan-comes-out-against-trumps-muslim-ban-1792011708

I’m going to repeat the entire column here because it’s short, but also because the consistency in the paragraphs is admirable.

Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan, who voted for Donald Trump, is speaking out against Trump’s ban on refugees and on all entry from seven majority-Muslim countries. While NBA representatives have been vocal in expressing their disapproval of the ban, the NFL has been mostly silent—making Khan’s voice a prominent one.

Khan, who voted for Donald Trump, is himself Muslim. He told the New York Times he had expected Trump to be more moderate upon entering office and praised the court system for blocking the ban.

Khan, who voted for Donald Trump, is himself an immigrant. He told the paper that the ban is “not good” and that he believes immigration is the “bedrock of our country.” The Jaguars owner was born in Pakistan and arrived in the U.S. in 1967.

Khan, a registered Republican who voted for Donald Trump, also spoke of his support for a human rights ordinance in Jacksonville that would make it illegal to discriminate against members of the LGBTQ community. That law—similar to those in more than 20 other cities—has been consistently rejected by Republican politicians in that city.

Khan, who voted for Donald Trump, also told the Times he is a strong proponent of NAFTA and that he opposes Trump’s attempts to repeal it.

Bad editing, or purposeful editing that foresaw bad reading?

Also, LoL

JEDIT: nevermind. I now see that this is a masterpiece.

Anyway, for me that is irrelevant because as long as it is a different actor I will be taken out of the film.

Now that I know you won’t be in it I am suddenly more interested in seeing this!

All kidding aside I really think you would be more taken out of the film if they had kept the same actors. That is a silly complaint to make.

Her husband is an advisor, she is not.

Then what in hell was she doing in that meeting.

Maybe those that are married were all invited to & allowed to bring their wives/partners? Maybe this is acutally picture from the dinner and not the actual meeting where partners/wives aren’t allowed? I don’t see anything going on that isn’t supposed to be going on.

Then you are blind.

You would be mistaken because if I can respond to what you said I can read and see the picture just fine. If you’ve got actual proof that this picture shows impropriety, bring it. If you don’t you’ve got nothing except empty digs at me.

I maintain that you blind and are extremely biased in favor of Trump. I’d like to say more of what I think about you, but that would violate the rules.

sustained.

Three days prior to inauguration but relevant and disconcerting.

http://www.commondreams.org/news/2017/01/19/never-seen-anything-gaping-holes-trumps-foreign-policy-team

Many aspects of President-elect Donald Trump’s transition have been described as disorganized (at best), but his administration’s approach to foreign policy “appears” particularly rudderless, raising concerns among domestic experts and international allies alike.

The defining part of the article is the quoted word above … “appears”, and that is an opinion, not fact. LOL

ok, i can respect your point that you should work to make things better (from your previous post, not this one). but what i don’t respect is your constant brushing aside of every piece of information as being opinion, and not fact. the opinion of the matter is, that almost all information that is out there is not fact. if you can’t deal with finding the shadow of the facts by sifting through and weighing opinions, then I don’t know… ? i don’t know.

I do wonder at what point I’m allowed to stop giving Trump another chance. 70 years hasn’t been enough. 2 years of campaigning hasn’t been enough. 2 weeks of a nonstop shitshow hasn’t been enough. Is 2 months more enough? 2 more years? Will I ever be allowed to question anything that Saint Trump has done or said?

dahmage, I’m relying on you to guide me on this matter. What ever your counsel, I will follow it.

as for me and my house? we have stopped giving trump a chance about 2 minutes into his campaign. I have never seen a reason to go back on that. As soon as i see reason from him, that will be a reason to start giving him a chance again.

I thank you for your guidance. I was willing to give Trump another chance starting right now, but you’ve convinced me to do otherwise.

don’t worry about it. My bill is in the mail.

Oh.

Time to set up a gofundme.

Like this one, maybe.

https://www.gofundme.com/buy-pat-toomeys-vote

that is pretty hilarious, especially the ‘Update’ information. Side note: I tried to reach that guy (he is my senator after all) about recent events, but only was able to leave a voice mail. doubt he will listen. hopeful, against all logic, that he will listen.
