the voice merging sounds really interesting if it is to work. would you be able to make a sample? im assuming they say the same things, and have the timing the same?
i always liked the colouring/insignia designs from the prequels for ships, troops and battledroids etc. id like to see someone make OT stuff have them just out of interest, but i dont think it would fot too well with adywans style of working. i guess it would be moreinteresting to see the colouring/insignia removed from the PT, so everything is just beige, gray and blue-gray like the lord intended.
would you consider having yodas pod possibly decayed in the background in any of the dagobah shots, like maybe when luke is running around?
its impossible for me to do anything a well as the other guys. just thought it would be funny if a group of us had an attempt at making a really bad version.
i think troopermans dubbing was the only way, well either that or breaking into the ranch.
maybe if we band together and make a REBORN tribute it will inspire ID and TJ to restart the project?
would anyone be interested in dividing the movie up and each person does a section each, no matter how bad/good it turns out?
we can base it purely on the order of scenes they planned, in easily digestable low resolution that our mortal computers can just about handle!
we can call it STAR WARS REBORN: a new hope......

i can imagine the fleet circling like planes do over a crowded airport to avoid collisions, but that metaphor doesnt stand when the spaceships can just stop. i think the uniformity idea sounds good, but may give the impression that the fleet actually knows where to go, which at this point it doesnt quite. the test will be seeing them in motion, its hard to make a decision i guess until we see them moving.
just backtracking, i think the yellow stripe should be kept. it kind of looks better, and then han and lando are visually similar in their outfits, so perhaps highlights their similarities.

i think it amy have been a crude attempt at highlighting its harsh times for the rebellion. in the prequels the colours of each film seem tailored to the mood, (EP1+2 being rosy and over saturated to show the inoocence and romance, EP3 being alot darker and broodier) in ROTJ the colours seem to get a bit jolly again after the emperor is killed, han almost looks like he is wearing lipstick!
could the pulsating hand be similar to the tusken raider waving his stick in ANH, ie footage that is played, reversed, played etc?
im sorry to hear that guys, but it takes alot of guts to say enough is enough. i agree with RR, if you could possibly post up scene for scene notes, and materials that would be awesome.
Would you consider possibly carrying this on with an expanded team?
Or would the project be more achievable in a smaller episodic cliffhanger series format?
The discussioins you have provided have been interesting and exciting, and the trailers alone are fantastic, and achieve to an extent what a full film could have.:)
