Audio cassettes....

I still see blank cassette tapes for sale in drugstores. They often still have VHS tapes too.

We have 90 minute tapes where I work super-cheap, but I need 120s.

EDIT: I think. I need a way to determine the length of certain tapes.

Rewind to the start of the tape, press play, then time how long it takes to reach the end of the tape in minutes. Then multiply by 2. E.g. if it takes 45 minutes to play one side, then it is a C90 tape.

Your audio books will probably be a bespoke length and not correspond to the standard C60, C90 or C120 lengths. I’d be very surprised if you actually need a C120 as these were more vulnerable to being chewed up because the tape was thinner.

By “which films would you watch?”, do you mean from your list or are you asking us to post our own? I’ve seen all the films in your list and will be making my own soon. I do it every year.
Your list is nice! I’d drop Jaws ('cause that’s a 4th of July movie not Halloween!) and a couple others 'cause I didn’t like em, but it’s a good list.
Here’s my list in the making.
It’s more of a favorite films of the season than a 31 days list, but same idea I guess.

Yes, I should have typed “what would be on your list” to be clearer.

Checked out your list, I love that you have Charlie Brown on there. I also need to see Trick 'R Treat; seen several people say it is one of the best Halloween movies but I never got around to watching it.

Paid a visit to BHS closing down sale - cheap BDs and DVDs!
Time

Following the collapse of British Home Stores, all stores in the country are holding closing down sales (many stores have already closed) where everything is being sold off - you can even buy the mannequins and display shelves!

I had a root through the video aisle in my local store and picked up several bargains; they’re selling retail DVDs for £1.99 each and caseless/ex-rental DVDs/BDs for £1 each or 3 for £2.

Might be of interest to our UK members.
