I assumed that the lizard thing from Ep III is a Krayt Dragon. Even before I'd seen Ep III I'd decided not to change the sound in the DVD, and I'm glad I didn't because I like the link. The original noise sounded too similar to a Dewback, to me.

I never thought it sounded like a dewback until Lucas put in so many dewback sounds that we couldn't help but know what they sound like. Having said that, would not a dewback scream also startle tuskens since the imperials are known to employ them?

I really dislike the new sound. It just sounds like an electronic tweet. . . doesn't even sound scary.

Here's something someone said over at another forum that I frequent. He explains what the nature of the imbalance is while still remaining within the confines of what Lucas has said on the matter.
