[spoRv] projects - past and future
Time

For THE EVIL DEAD, I suggest matching the 1.33:1 OAR from the USA BD with the Herald Videogram Japanese LD. Also taking the LPCM track from the Herald LD would be awesome too.

TOTAL RECALL you'd only need to ColourMatch to the StudioCanal VC-1 UK Blu-ray.

A Nightmare on Elm Street I suggest ColourMatching to the Elite Laserdisc. http://www.lddb.com/laserdisc/06698/EE3733/Nightmare-on-Elm-Street-A:-Special-Edition-%281984%29

MAD MAX 2 the choice is yours but use the newest BD release for the ColourMatching to be used on.

Waterworld [spoRv] (Released)
Time

kk650,
How about a 2-Disc BD50 version for The Fellowship of the Ring Extended instead? I wouldn't mind seeing some Japanese, Russian, German, etc. dubs for some fan preservations.

Andrea,
This spoRv release might be of interest but only version I ever owned of this movie was on VHS ages ago. So it's quite low priority for me.
But as always any Andrea Blu-ray preservation will turn out exceptional.

General Star Wars Random Thoughts Thread
Time

Why don't I care that much about Star Wars anymore? Haven't since 2006 and didn't even get glad about Episode VII and the New Trilogy. But I still find myself playing Knights of the Old Republic I & II.
I'd even rather sell all my remaining Star Wars merchandise to buy something I'm more interested in. No, I didn't even buy Star Wars on Blu-ray either.

I'd never sell anyones projects for profit. I'd only ask people to Pay It Forward with what they get only if they have blank media. No idea why some people would sell others work i.e. OCP at stupid prices where people can get it for free. Sure, I use adfly every now and then for links but it's more so I can buy more blank media. Does PIF exist any longer or is it upload randomly for others to use?
I figure this account will be banned too no matter what my honesty is.

For Sale: USA: Star Wars Action Figures (1995-2004)
Time

So I have lots of these, many loose and some still on card. From 1995 to 2004.

Should I list them on eBay or Craigslist? Trying to sell the loose for $3-$6 each and the carded maybe $7 each. Trying to whittle away at my unneeded Star Wars collection since I stopped being a fan in 2006.

Lots of Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and R2-D2.

Even have the proper scaled blue box Luke Skywalker’s X-Wing Fighter. No idea how much it’s worth. I’d rather buy Blu-rays or some books with the money I get.

Frink, I kept creating FremenDar variants because I forgot if the password was forum generated or my own one. That and I was preferring to use the 007 account instead of this one. Join Date: January 27, 2014

Now, please back on topic with Doctor Who.

Allegedly Series 8 will start in August and won't have a split halfway during broadcast. So, we'll have all 13 episodes this year instead of half this year and the other half in early next year.

Video Games - a general discussion thread
Time

I've been playing Don't Starve quite a lot on my computer. Grabbed it from GOG, no idea how to play Adventure mode so I'm creating my own worlds in Sandbox mode. Just to see how many things Wilson can create.
Been replaying Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition since I lost my main save, it was after the main storyline with 3 out of 4 DLC taken care of, but I don't mind since it's a fun title.
But, I've been leaning back towards movies and TV shows lately so I am in fact seeing if quite a bit of licensed titles, excluding the ARKHAM series, are of any playable worthiness. I don't mind if some are timesinks.

Have done already Jetrell. Already made my own forum just in case they don't understand the IP issues here.
It's a fairly large campus which uses FiOS. My guess is Moth3r thought the sock account was me but in fact was a different user but on the same College campus. Won't happen again.

Doctor Who
Time

I'm attempting to get my FremenDar007 account name unlocked. I created this one in January.
I'm still a Doctor Who fan. I also highly recommend the two-parter (it's more two serials linked as one) Third Doctor - DALEK WAR. I have the PAL DVD Boxset and forgot the specific names of the serials in them. The Fifth Doctor serial where he's in England at the start of the great London fire is another great one. Forgot the name of the serial too. Has large Amphibial-type aliens but with ones face scarred.
All the Classic Doctors where they face-off against Davros is also excellent. Including Remembrance of the Daleks. Eighth Doctor I recommend the Big Finish audio dramas. For him just go in published/release order.

Anyone know where I could get the original cinematic LPCM (from Laserdisc most likely) tracks for JAWS, The Adventures of Robin Hood, The Big Sleep, The first 14 James Bond films, Scarface (1930's & 1983), Bullitt, Interview with the Vampire, Arsenic and Old Lace, RoboCop (Criterion), The Terminator, Forbidden Planet, The Graduate, The Evil Dead, Evil Dead II: Dead by Dawn, The Sea Hawk, Captain Blood, Key Largo, 1930's and 1940's films.

Have you watched any serials featuring either William Hartnell or Patrick Troughton? The vast majority of their serials are only available through Audio CD with narration or the Loose Cannon reconstructions. I highly recommend The Time Meddler (another Gallifreyan!) and The Dalek Master Plan (audio) are recommended for Hartnell. For Troughton, take your pick but especially The Power of the Daleks, The Two Doctors, Tomb of the Cybermen, and The War Games.
Anybody else a Doctor Who completist? I'm still importing the DVDs from England via Amazon UK.
