Very cool project, thank you for your work!
It's easily available. Even on Amazon.

That's crazy expensive for 16mm. It is much lower in res than BD. I'd wait for a 35mm at that price.
I'd wait for five 35mms at that price.

Actually, I'm 72.

IIRC the issue people care about most with the theatrical Blu-rays is slightly lower detail that the EE's, but I'm not sure it's at all clear that projection prints like these would provide noticeably more detail--perhaps even less.
It's not about detail as much as colors. 35mm scan would be 100% theatrically accurate, no fade. I'm not sure how hard would it be to correct BD, but the scan itself would be very watchable.
$1800 is an amazing price for the whole trilogy. It's only a bit more than the amount raised for a certain 16mm movie a month ago. One, faded movie.
I really hope there will be enough interest to secure this. I'm a little concerned about shipping costs though...
All you need to do is go to Thepiratebay (the most popular torrent site, ffs) and search for either "Despecialized", or "Harmy"...

The interview is pretty good btw. Long, but interesting. And the guy actually did some research before.
You should change your title to "Guerrilla Restorationist".

Where can I get this?! I tried to download it from pirate bay and filestube and I got Trojans! Anyone know a safe place where I can get these?
You probably just forgot to turn the incognito mode on.

My budget is infinite. Which Ld player is the best?
If your budget is infinite, buy a 16/35mm projector with a couple of films and spend the rest on hookers.
Eh it's the same.
Has this project been completed?

I will not deprive someone of having the best version of the original Star Wars Trilogy simply because they don't know where to post to ask for it.
TPB has the best version of original trilogy. Same files, same checksums, same everything. Plenty of seeders, fast download. If someone wants to get ONLY Harmy's preservations, it's stupid to give him Myspleen invite, because he'll download it and never log in again.
lol
Because it's an old version with much worse picture quality. Harmy's working (or will be working soon, can't remember) on a new one, with Blu-ray as source and a lot of tracks.
For ROTJ you should just wait for v2.0 IMO, but if you want to watch it now, the 7GB version from TPB is fine, there was no 20GB MKV of ROTJ yet.

The mentioned episodes are on piratebay, but someone removed all the dub tracks, except the English.
ESB 2.0 is on Thepiratebay in full verison and plenty of seeders, just search for "empire harmy". ROTJ 1.0 only has Czech and German dubs, so you shouldn't even bother.
I can understand Myspleen begging to get certain projects not available on public trackers, but Harmy's work is right there. No need for invites.

Only Trek II avoided grain raping.
You use that word, but I do not think it means what you think it means.
Poor grain sure as hell didn't give consent. :(
Most likely.
