regrading/editing original trilogy using blu-rays and german hdtv streams to remove bad but not all specialised/blu-ray changes (* unfinished project *)

I'm glad to hear your on your way to completing them all.

It must take along time to re-encode a blu-ray movie close to 20 hours maybe? Not sure what software you use is it Adobe Premiere or Vegas Pro?

Well i'm still looking forward to this massive release of movies Omen. More so the original trilogy and Lord of the Rings.

The 1993 PCM tracks have been around for a while, and hopefully my new versions will also be released available in lossless. ;)

Awesome news hairy_hen!

When might be the release date for your lossless versions?

Will they be in 5.1 and are the PCM versions in 5.1?

How's the audio part going on this project? Are you still making a different soundtrack than the blu-ray?

So you worked on Attack of the clones and revenge of the sith i had no idea?

What kinds of changes are you making or is it only regrading? If there's a forum just direct me there if you want.

I agree with vbangle

There's going to be many downloads on these versions of Star Wars because of what you have done to them. I check this thread everyday hoping to see some good news on the release. I have friends that watch this thread waiting to get there hands on these versions even though i know they have not posted one thing here.

Hey DoomBot, thanks for the interest!

Where or how they will be uploaded I don't know yet to be honest. The whole business with megaupload has changed the internet landscape a fair bit so i'll have to carefully consider that exact question.

Here are some comparisons between the official blu-ray and the regraded version from the second half of star wars:

Wow those look much better than the blu-ray awesome job.

So where are your new versions going to be uploaded too or how?

I'm also very much looking forward too all of these movies of yours.

I have all of these movies on blu-ray i just don't have the computer power right now to do my own edits. I hope to build one at some point here.

Hey Omen, everything is really looking great i'm so glad that someone is working with the blu-rays and editing and releasing them in high bitrate like they deserve. I take it you figured out how to take the DTS-HD Master and make it a PCM file? So if you did i'm sure that you used eac3to software?

I also look forward to The Lord of The Rings that you regraded as well. Are those going to be uploaded any time soon?

Thanks for all your hard work!

STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW

720p is better than people give it credit for. Most of us are going to be watching it on 50" to below televisions anyway. Yes 1080p is great, but I know where Ady is coming from. I started working on Spaceballs in 1080p, and my computer was really slow and I got the bluescreen of death several times. So I had to scrap my work and start new with 720p.

Not me, i'll be watching it on a 122" screen.

So what processor would handle editing 1080p with out killing the system?
