Okay, I watched "The Amazing Spider-Man" for the 3rd time today and I still think that this movie looks like some of the Star Wars Prequels. Peter Parker is a inconsistent character (sometimes Bad Boy, sometimes Emo, sometimes Wiz Kid), Dr. Connors is a bad guy for no reason, the romance is just lame and uncle Ben's death is pathetic. I felt like I was watching "Revenge of the Sith" (it's not REALLY bad but it could be a lot better). Besides, they stolen some comical ideas from "Superhero Movie", WTF?!
I'm waiting for the Nostalgia Critic's "Old vs NEW", let's see if someone agrees with me.

Better idea: Padme is married with some senator. Anakin is just a lover, his last name is never mentioned. Padme is pregnent and everybody, but Obi-wan, thinks that her husband is the father. Then, when Anakin turns to the Dark Side we could reuse some scenes from his Fighter to create a scene where he blasts some Republic ship (a lot of senators were there).
Everything makes sense. Everybody will think that Luke's father is dead and Anakin/Vader killed him.
What if... Every mention to Padme's pregnancy was cut out. So the audience would be wondering: "Is she pregnant or this is just fat?" Anakin could be the lover, the second guy. She could be married but her husband is a senator and is always busy. Then, when Anakin (hide every mention to Skywalker) starts to kill everybody, he could kill some guy that follows Padme in the background, so it would make sense when Obi-wan says "He betrayed and murdered your father". Padme's last scene would be in the ship on Mustafar.
When Vader says: "I am your father". The audience would be like: "Oh, the lover is the real father."
Or... she could have s*x with Owen Skywalker when Anakin is on Tatooine hunting the Sand People, I don't know...
New MAD idea: at the end Obi-wan could "die" Something like this.
Emperor: Lord Vader, we have a new enemy. Obi-wan kenobi.
Vader: Yes, master.
Emperor: Kill him.
Vader: As you wish.
Then Vader would chase Obi-wan (Tie fighter vs Jedi fighter) and Obi would be hit and we would see his fighter smoking and falling in some atmosphere (maybe Tattoine).
This would explain why Uncle Owen thinks that he died, and would keep the surprise about Ben kenobi.
Owen could be Owen Skywalker and he could really be Anakin's brother.

The original trilogy is not unfinished. The special editions are just alterations to the original theatrical version. And, belive me, a lot of people would like to see the original versions, even the younger generation that only saw the special editions.
I grew up watching the special editions, but when I saw the theatrical version, I tought they were far way better, specialy because I knew how it was difficult to make optical effects in the 80's.
Please, Harmy, could you fix this?

I watched "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" on BD today. And I was a little disapointed with the sound, the theatre mix seemed to be so perfect, every thing could be heard perfectly. I don't know, maybe it's the acustics of the theatre and not the sound mix. Does the acoustics of the theater influences the sound?
