According to Darth Mallwalker for ROTJ it's PAL frame 68664 & 68665 and NTSC frame 141780.

I don't understand why you made the edges round. You will only see round edges when the screen the movie is projected on has round edges (was this actuallyalready the case when the SW movies were in theatres?), not because the projected source has round edges. Also, when someones want round edges he or she can make/buy a screen with round edges. People who don't want round edges now have no choice.

I had the same problem. I was bummed.
For me SW SE is downloading fine so far, no damage in the first 300 files or so, but I'm downloading the old one.
Althor, is there any difference in the 97SE raw caps from about 200 days ago and the REUP? I was already downloading the old ones when I noticed there was a reup.

I just scanned them with a flatbed scanner. They need some adjustments though, to get rid of the yellowish paper color.
I really like the BD25 preservation of the JSC. Are you planning something similar for the 97SE? (sorry if I missed this in the thread, I was quickly scanning through it to see if you mentioned it).
Don't know if anyone is interested, but here is a file with the JSC artwork I made years ago for DVD (also includes the raw scans).
Thank you Team Blu for the effort of creating these gems! Image quality is better than can be expected considering the source material. The audio is truly amazing. I'm an OOT guy and despise the "OT" Blu-ray release but I'm actually excited to see the 1997 SE from start to finish. Can't wait for your OOT as well as 1997 SE Empire and Jedi!

The chroma smear seen in this example of the X9 cap is mostly seen on fast moving scenes and objects such as laser blasts or other saturated objects, this being when Solo running past the camera, and actually reminds me very much of the artifacts seen in GOUT. Don't worry about coming off as an a-hole. You're just pointing out some errors. The smearing looks indeed terrible. I don't know why I haven't seen it before. The V800 capture was done using a capture card with a Philips SAA713x (can't remeber the x, 2 or 4?) chipset. The X9 capture was done with the Sweetspot capture card which has on older chipset iirc. Maybe the newer chipset gives better results although the sweetspot should be a better quality card overall.
There was also another strange thing with the sweetspot (which has probably nothing to do with the smearing), if I captured the same clip twice the first field of the same frame could be either a top field in the first capture and a bottom field in the second capture whereas with my other capture card the first field of the same frame was always a top field or bottom field in all captures.

It was actually a small mistake on my part. When I synced the 1977 mix, I noticed that there were a few places where the wav file had inverted phase compared to the earlier analog laser discs and the 1985 mix. In order for the few patches from the analog mix to work correctly, I had to correct the inverted phase in some spots. I accidentally included the phase corrected versions of side 1 and side 2 instead of the straight LD rip. I'm planning on fixing this in V2 of the torrent, though the gout synced track will have the correct phase.
So this phase corrected side 1 and 2 is only the analog capture? The digital 1977 capture is the straight LD rip?

Yes it has that button. When I poke that button I get these choices:
Analog --> Digital --> Analog --> Digital --> Analog --> etc...
Only those two options. There isn't any
'Analog with CX'
'Analog without CX'
or anything like that.
Keep in mind my CLD-S201 was the cheapest model during its production year.
So we don't expect it will have all the features its big brothers got.
What choices do you get with your player, using that button?
Hmm, on my cld-2950 I get the same options, but I remeber having turned CX off during capturing. Must have been the X9 then.

Well, I have the JSC, a LD player with optical out and a soundblaster (which I bought a few years ago because of the bitperfect option) with optical in. However, I don't know what program to use or how to check if a stream was ripped bitperfect.
I can imagine you can hear a difference between the laserdisc digital audio and an analoge capture of it. But will anyone be able to hear the difference between the digital laserdisc audio and a digital capture via toslink (that isn't bit accurate)?

Dark_jedi, is the current V3 theatrical and '85 remix audio an analoge capture? You want to replace it by digital bit perfect rips, right?
I guess blu-ray doesn't support 44.1 kHz, or does it? So any bitperfect rip needs to be resampled. Does anyone know what is the best way to resample? Is this "secret rabbit code" good (http://www.mega-nerd.com/SRC/fb2k.html)? Or is it better to resample during the capture?
In the Netherlands there's a company that scans 16mm film to HD (1400x1040). I don't think they care what kind of material it is. It's 2,50 euro per minute. So for under 1000 euros you can have the OOT scanned. So whoever owns these 16mm films, maybe it's a nice idea.
Are there any other shot were the JSC was used? What about Empire or Jedi?
