I know there's a guy who did one, including the two alternate endings, a documentary, interviews and more on the disc...

...and I was wondering if anyone else was fiddling with this film?

I've been waiting for years for this film to come to DVD. I've not seen any information on this upcoming release (It keeps getting pushed back over and over.)
MeBeJedi: Sadly, I believe the prequels are beyond repair.
JediRandy: They're certainly beyond any repair you're capable of making.

MeBeJedi: You aren't one of us.
Go-Mer-Tonic: I can't say I find that very disappointing.

JediRandy: I won't suck as much as a fan edit.

There was a widesceen Laserdisc of this which I've never been able to get my mitts on.
"Lights! Camera! Action!" on Nickelodeon back in the 80's ran a behind the scenes featurette. The guy wearing the demon suit played Bib Fortuna in Jedi!

Where were you in '77?

What is really nuts is paying nearly $100 for the pan and scan version!

PAYING for that crappy VHS-to-DVDR of The Keep? Jesus, the pirate version can be easily downloaded, on many IRC channels, DC...

I can't find a torrent of it anywhere. (I've tried IRC once, but had no one to talk to. )

I don't talk to bots that serve films on IRC, either...

I'd love to see this movie again, and the dvd release date got put back then just disappeared. Looks like the director is too busy for a directors cut right now.

I'd buy a bare-bones release. I love this film.

Do you have it on DVD? I'd love to see this movie again. The last time I saw it (on VHS) was probably 12 years ago.

Welcome to OT.COM, mr-bridger.

The first thing you should do is go into your profile and turn on PMs. (It's not automatic here......yet.)

Secondly, please contact me at originaltrilogy at yahoo dot com. I'd love to re-author this DVD for you.

Well, I gave mr-bridger a shipping address, but have not heard from him.

I will soon be coming into possession of an LD of The Keep, but it's most likely the P&S version. Sucks, but then again, this is the only way I've ever seen it, so it will have to do for now.

It was one of the horror channels, probably on Rizon. It probably moved since then. But DC++ hubs are still full of the samy copy of the film. It's a fool-screen VHS transfer, though; I don't believe I ever came across a laserdisc one.
