Feedback Wanted: Your thoughts on this guy's suggested change to The Force Awakens?

I was pleasantly surprised by this idea: instead of Starkiller Base preparing to fire on the Resistence planet at the end of the film, have it fire on the Republic (Hosnian) — and be successful in doing so. Could add more depth to the end of the film.

I just wonder how it would work as a fanedit — cutting out the scene showing the attack and instead moving it later in the film and not screw up the story too much.

The only issue is that it wouldn’t be continuous with the following films, chances are that we’ll see Hosnia again in the trilogy

Holy shit if somebody implements this idea seamlessly I’m calling it as fanedit of the year.

Oh oops, I thought it was the planet that saw it happen but didn’t get affected, nevermind. It’s a great idea 😃
