Info Wanted: Fan edits on YouTube?

I’ve considered putting particularly brilliant clips from a fan edit on YouTube. I’m wondering how fan editors would feel about this? What about putting an entire edit on YouTube?

If it were my edit (which it isn't, since I haven't released any), I wouldn't mind so long as I was properly credited. If I wasn't, I'd report the video to YouTube for copyright infringement. If I were, I'd leave it alone.

Revisited is on YouTube. The whole thing. I don't see a problem, as long as you don't take credit for someone else's work.
