The above post by warbler is what kind of got this ball rolling. Could it be read as back-seat modding? Could it be interpreted as hostile and provoking? It seems that we have a number of folks that tend to use verbiage in an attempt to mask their intentions and evade the rules related to such behavior. Though I’m not surprised it happens I don’t think this behavior should be ignored. It’s not that hard to just report what you see and be done.

I’d like to add that this thread should be a “report free” one. Everyone should get a free pass in here as long as they keep civil and discuss.
How is threatening to use the report button backseat modding? Is that button only for the mods?
I’m concerned that it’s baiting people which is not good. If others can get told to knock it off for less there is no reason warbler or anyone else would be immune.

This is why I’d like to know how the rules interpret this since it seems a gray area but happens. Why is that wrong?

No, I think Alderaan is annoying and Warbler interpreted his posts as conspiratorial in nature, and generalfrievious was genuinely violating the thread rules, and since he does it every time he enters the politics thread, Warb warned him instead of immediately reporting him. I don’t think it’s fun at all. I reported generalfrievious and didn’t even warn him.

This forum is not a rose garden of splendid angelic beings of light, LOL. This kind of stuff has gone on for like ever and warbler is not the only one to “insinuate” things through verbiage without actually saying it. He is no more a victim than me, you, Frink, the Mod’s, and anyone else here. I am not paranoid although you are entitled to your own opinion.
I am merely trying to understand, why warbler complained about the mods not doing as he asked publicly, instead of just reporting things quietly. Why does it need to be a public show?
