Agreed. An intentional killing is different from deaths caused by negligence. Not every death is a political issue either.

There was a fatal shooting at a mall and a high school in my relatively small city about ten years ago. Coworkers and classmates of mine at the time even knew the victims and one of the murderers. In fact, I even had gone to school with the murderer a couple years earlier. It’s an eerie and frightening feeling.

If the crazy scenario that got me to this point in the hypothetical decision chain materializes, Congress would rise up quickly to stop the President, and the pressure on the cabinet would be enormous as well. If I am naive in thinking this, then we are indeed in trouble.

Good article but I don’t think any scenario painted by the author is so dire. Political ramifications are huge. Democrats will benefit greatly in the midterms if Mueller is fired.

EDIT: Maybe I should wait until I know all the facts before coming to that conclusion. Innocent until proven guilty, as we jurors say.
