I thought Tron Legacy was pretty great. Don’t understand why so many Tron fans hate it. Haven’t watched it in a while so maybe I should.
Agreed. I didn’t know Tronnies didn’t like it.
Movies I really like :
Star Trek : The Motion Picture is my favourite Trek movie.

Yeah I’ve heard people complain that it wasn’t as closely related to the original as they hoped (guess they wanted more fan service or something).
Still bummed about Disney killing Tron 3.
.
I thought it was pretty good too, but I still prefer the original TRON (though I haven’t seen it in ages…).
I like Waterworld, it has great sets and nice post-apocalyptic feel, Dennis Hopper is good etc.
After the Sunset is another, a Brosnan & Hayek film. It has great scenery, many of them include Salma Hayek in bikini, and it’s a fun & simple little film. Not sure why it was “panned”, it is what it is, a fun ride.
And in the time of greatest despair, there shall come a savior, and he shall be known as the Son of the Suns.

I prefer the original too. It holds a special place in my heart, really. As a little kid my brother and I rented it from Movie Gallery all the time (back when Movie Gallery was a thing). When a sequel was announced I was almost as excited as I was for TFA more recently. Both of which I think are worthy successors to their respective originals.

Holy shit I agree with LexX on something.
When they destroyed his boat, I almost cried. That thing had more personality than anyone in the PT.
Ah yes – Waterworld. That goes on my list, too.
With all it’s flaws, I also love “Star Trek The Motion Picture” in all it’s incarnations.
Also add “Godzilla Vs. The Smog Monster” (API Dub) to my list.

+1 for Waterworld.
War does not make one great.
Cabin Boy
Pootie Tang
On this forum, maybe I should include Return of the Jedi
I watched the film adaptation of Odd Thomas a few days ago. It apparently got scathing reviews, but I really liked it. Into my list it goes.

Agreed! It was surprisingly good.
Some more movies that are considered bad that I like are Jurassic Park 3 and Terminator Salvation. I don’t think that they are great, but I don’t see how they are considered very bad. I would probably give a six out of ten to the former, and a 5.5 to the latter. I also think that Superman IV, while incredibly dated and cheesy, brings up some good ideas and good acting. I would probably give it a five, which is more than I think anyone has ever given it.
Not enough people read the EU.
5.5-6/10 is pretty mediocre.
I like them more than many people do, is what I’m trying to say.

“Frankenstein Unbound” and “Battle Beyond The Stars”

Ah, Frankenstein Unbound … so much good mixed with bad; I’d add it to my own list, but I only watched it once and not recently.
I think I’ll also add Max Max Beyond Thunderdome to my list. I understand why everyone has issues with it, but I just can’t find it in me to dislike it.
Rocky V.
But maybe it was only because it came after Rocky IV, which was ruined for me by that stupid robot.

TFA
真実
I can’t think of any films with the TFA acronym that are generally considered to be bad.
The only way that would make sense is if the whole world consisted of no one but impscum, Alderaan, Bosk, and Smoking Lizard.
TV’s Frink said:
impscum,
But didn’t he just say he doesn’t consider it to be bad?
He sure has an odd way of showing it.

Taboo Fornication: Anal.
Tell Fred “Adieu”.
The French Armada.
Tomorrow, Find Adam.
TV’s Frink Awakens.
Two Fiery Assholes.
All those movies are trash.
Don’t do drugs, unless you’re with me.
