Instead of ET for Yoda how about that chrome ship from Flight Of The Navigator complete with Pee Wee Herman's voice?

Maximilian would be an ideal replacement for the General but maybe he has the voice of the deposed Chancellor Zod he could have heat vision and Ursa as a sidekick (she makes lots of lines about the General).

I think people seem to be overestimating TV's' skills. ;-)

They must not be reading the end credits where I tell them who actually did all the whiz-bang visual stuff I'm not capable of.

Is there enough Vader dialog in the OT to make him say "Do not want"?

FOUND IT:

"Asteroids DO NOT concern me, Admiral. I WANT that ship, not excuses."

This would be great in that scene when Vader is facing the Death Star. He could say "Do not want" completly bored.

"Yeah and... and... and I'm gonna be back to talk about them Rolexes."

Padme does have that scene in the end where she names Luke and Leia.

Maybe that can be messed with? Instead of just saying the regular names you can have her say a silly laundry list of other names or ridiculous things and cut to reactions from those around her?

For instance maybe when she sees the babies she can say 'jar jar' or 'senator' or something like that?

Another idea - not sure if it is possible though without f/x help from someone though. But it might be funny after the scene normally ends between Anakin and Emperor after Mace has been killed to see Mace simply return and stand there all battered, bloody and bruised (without his arm) and just repeat ""In the name of the Galactic Senate of the Republic, you're under arrest, Chancellor."

Could have sworn I suggested the same thing. ;)

It would be a good callback to TRM if she names the babies after Nute Gunray.

This also the last opportunity for Mace to utter this famous (cleaned up for TV) line. Substituting "sith" for snakes and "senate" for plane?

As Nute is dead by that point, he's going to have to say it as a ghost. ;)

"Now there are two of them"
I wish I had been drinking something so I could spit it out at the PERFECTION THAT THIS IS.

Don't they even cut away to Obi-wan when the second one comes out. Replace with shot of Gunray, PERFECT.

Anakin could dream that Padme dies in the Senate or in a Separatist or in an angel.

It's could change every morning for a number of weeks.

This can be arranged.

'This can be arranged.'

LoL, spoiler alert, that joke will likely be in the cut!

I'm not going to respond to everything, but here's a random sampling of thoughts so far...

-I don't own 2001, but might buy it to use Hal
-That Duke Nukem muzak is hilarious
-I'm definitely replacing Grievious' voice, just don't know with what yet
-Gonna buy Airplane 2 for Shatner's lines
-Palps asking Ani to be the hands, feet, legs, etc. of the Republic is an actual LOL
-I will definitely be giving Anakin Vader lines throughout, just not sure how much...and at some point (probably after he and Sid kill Mace) he'll only speak in Vader lines
-DO NOT WANT for Vader sounds like a winner
-The Black Knight lines for the red Royal Guards will be done if I can make it work
-Leia giving goofy names to the twins, or trying out a bunch of different names?  Love it!  And settling on Nute for one is a definite plus.
-Weird Al song "Yoda" will make an appearance somewhere
-Snakes on a Plane edited TV line can be done, and I also may have to go ahead and buy Pulp Fiction
-Ghost Nute during birth, genius!
-Anakin dreaming all sorts of different things at different points in the movie sounds fun

Definitely will be an annoying end song, but not sure that's it.  I'll know it when I hear it...Call Me Maybe came up pretty late in the process, so we'll see what pop culture throws at us this year.

Anakin could dream about Natalie Portman's bathing scene in Your Highness. ;)

Mr. Plinkett could make a voice cameo as a medical droid in Vader's birth and say: "What's wrong with your face?!"

"Yeah and... and... and I'm gonna be back to talk about them Rolexes."

The "Empire"/Republic, you know the "sneaking by the enemy by walking right in front of the enemy" joke, for example perhaps Obi-Wan/The Tantive IV flying right infront of the viewscreen of Vader and Palps's Star Destroyer while they are looking at the Death Star.

I've got it!

The final shot of Revenge of the Ridiculousnessness (or whatever it's going to be called) has Maul's Darth Darth's speeder fly across the Tatooine desert, past Owen and Beru (who are looking up into the suns setting) and drives straight into the camera, Walking on Sunshine blaring over the end credits.

The speeder could be used in the other films somehow, amongst the trash on the Jawa's Crawler thingy, Walking on Sunshine now playing slower and lowerpitched. Don't know how it could fit into Empire or Jedi though.

Maybe instead of that frog thing that eats the other thing on the outside of Jabba's palace, the speeder lies there, finally finishing the song for one last time, before the batteries finally run out.
