Having a temperature system for normal Earth humans that only ranges from -10 to 30 degrees makes no objective sense. Centigrade units is the only part of the metric system that I have serious problems with.

And I call it centigrade because it sounds cooler.

Yes, though 0 being freezing makes some good sense, I think.

Also, the weather you describe sounds like where I am. You in the northeast?

If you flip a map upside down, then, yes, I am in the northeast. Otherwise, no.

That area of the country does sound lovely, though.

It is usually quite nice at this time of the year in particular. Except it’s rained almost everyday of the week for the last four weeks or so.

I agree. For most measurement systems, I’d say the rest of the world has it right, and America’s wrong. But not in this case. Fahrenheit just makes more sense.

I prefer 18 Celsius, because I understand it. 😃

Rainy, on the day that summer begins. Ironic, isn’t it?

Not if you’re in Canada…that’s about the only time it rains. Rest of the time it just snows.

Chilly and raining…walking around with coats on in July.

It’s sometimes sunny, really hot, and has rained almost every day since June.

This summer is confusing.

FTFM.

The air here is so hazy with the smoke of neighbouring forest fires that one cannot even see the tops of nearby hills.

On the plus side, all that smoke in the air blocks out the sun and keeps the temperature down.

Started hailing heavily while I was riding my bike home from school today. Ouch. Bad day to be wearing a short sleeved shirt and no helmet.

Not enough people read the EU.

My thoughts are with those whose weather has been very dangerous: those affected by Hurricane Harvey and those now affected by Hurricane Irma. I wish you all the greatest safety and blessings.
