Zootopia was a decent film but Moana was the better of their two films. That said, of them all, Kubo and the Two Strings should have won this year. Instead it’s just another year and another disappointment from the Academy voters.
When has the academy ever appreciated or understood the complexities of stop motion? Ray Harryhausen got snubbed his entire career.
The entire animation category is to make sure they never compete against “real” movies, like when Beauty and The Beast was up for best picture against a movie where Anthony Hopkins tears off someone’s face and wears it. 😉

I know you didn’t and I’m not upset at silverwook for saying something because I knew it was a risky post. I know you didn’t mean any harm I just have a short fuse when it comes to insulting people over innocent isolated mistakes. If this same individual had ruined multiple Oscars I would probably feel different.
Keep in mind the people or person in question will never know about my three stooges comparison.
There’s a coworker of mine that constantly insults this sweet old lady that also works with us behind her back for being slow. She knows everything about the job and is very knowledgeable and a great resource for advice and very sweet but she is physically slow being well into her 60s and having poor health, so this other worker constantly makes fun of her behind her back and always proclaims how glad she is when she’s off or when she has to call in sick because “she would have just been in the way”. (Which is quite honestly not true she’s still helpful to have around) this old lady doesn’t hear her making fun of her our saying hateful things like that, so is it still wrong? I know this is a very harsh and extreme (though sadly true) scenario that you would never do, but I’m just explaining why things like this bother me.
